Another circulating video shows the aftermath of a massacre in the village of Al-Haffah in the Latakia countryside against unarmed Alawite residents of the village.
They appear to have been lined up and killed in an orderly manner.
❗️Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari is set to step down from his role in the coming weeks and retire from the military, following an agreement with the new Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir.
Reports of Hagari's resignation, along with other military officials, had initially surfaced in early 2024.
❗️At dawn, hundreds of Israeli Hasidic Jews gathered to pray at the tomb of Rav Ashi, a 4th-century Babylonian Jewish rabbi, in southern Lebanon. The site, near the summit of Mount Shanan, sits directly on the Blue Line, nestled between an Israeli army post and a UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) base, overlooking the southern Lebanese village of Houla in the Marjayoun district.
UNIFIL spokesperson Kandice Adriel stated that "any unauthorized crossing of the Blue line is a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701."
Israeli ultra-Orthodox Jews previously infiltrated the same site in mid February.

⭕️ Update | Deadly clashes escalate on Syrian coast as HTS-led government forces battle armed groups associated with former Syrian army
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), intense clashes continue to ravage Latakia, Tartous, and Jableh, with at least 71 people killed since the start of a large-scale 'security campaign' launched by HTS-forces.
Among the dead are 35 members of the HTS-led Ministry of Defense and Interior Affairs, 32 former Syrian Arab Army (SAA) fighters, and 4 civilians, with dozens more injured or missing.
The Ministry of Defense and Interior Affairs has deployed reinforcements from Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama, regaining control of Jableh while encountering fierce guerrilla attacks from gunmen entrenched in Latakia’s mountains and Jableh’s urban centers.
Meanwhile, military convoys have set ambush positions on the Tartus-Homs and Baniyas-Jableh highways, as reports emerge of executions of captured fighters on both sides. Russian forces stationed at Hmeimim Air Base have reportedly accepted the surrender of dozens of security personnel, while the general security service has imposed a 24-hour curfew across Latakia, Tartus, and Homs as the situation remains volatile.
Yesterday evening Israeli occupation forces detonated a Palestinian home in the old city of Nablus during the military's assault on the city in the occupied West Bank.

❗️Yestreday evening, Israeli occupation forces entered the historic An-Nasr Mosque in Nablus’s Old City and set fire to sections of the building, as reported by local sources.
The mosque, which is the largest and oldest in Nablus, has deep historical roots. Originally constructed as a Crusader church in 1167 AD, it was transformed into a mosque after the Al-Salahi conquest of Nablus in 1187 AD. Since then, the site has seen multiple restorations and remains a significant cultural landmark.
❗️Hamas:
"The Israeli occupation’s attacks on mosques during Ramadan, including the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by occupation forces and settlers, their ongoing Judaization attempts, their continued efforts to seize full control of the Ibrahimi Mosque, and the desecration and burning of several mosques in Nablus this morning, are clear escalations in the occupation’s religious war and its assault on Islamic sanctities as part of its open war on our people and land.
The attacks on mosques in Nablus and Hebron, setting rooms on fire, and preventing worshippers from performing the Fajr prayer mark a dangerous precedent that requires all efforts to prevent its recurrence and to stand firm against the occupation’s policies and ambitions.
The Palestinian people and their resistance will remain the protective shield in defending their mosques and sanctities, which are under continuous attack and desecration by the occupation and its settlers, especially during Ramadan, the month of sacrifice and jihad.
We call upon our people in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied territories to intensify all forms of resistance, to increase their presence and steadfastness in Al-Aqsa and the Ibrahimi Mosque, and to confront the occupation’s aggression against mosques and holy sites."

As the first week of Ramadan draws to a close, Israeli occupation forces raided the occupied West Bank city of Nablus and its mosques, causing widespread destruction and setting fire to the Al-Nasr Mosque in the Bab Al-Saha area of the Old City.

❗️The Conference of High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions on enforcing the Fourth Convention (which protects civilians during wartime) in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, will not take place today, as was scheduled.
The Swiss Federal Council announced that significant disagreements arose among the high contracting parties during extensive consultations, and that Switzerland determined that a substantial number of parties did not support the conference and has therefore decided not to hold it.
