"The statements attributed to Dr. Musa Abu Marzouk do not represent Hamas’s position. The movement remains committed to its resistance weapons as they are legitimate weapons, and this is not up for discussion as long as our Palestinian land remains under occupation.
Resistance in all its forms will remain a legitimate right of our people until liberation and return. The events of 7 October will continue to be a defining moment in the history of all occupied nations and a strategic turning point in the course of the Palestinian national struggle.
The occupation’s aggressive and destructive behavior in all its wars against the peoples of the region is the cause of the devastation in Gaza, and it is now continuing its policy of destruction in the West Bank."

❗️Buenos Aires Deputy Mayor Yamil Santoro has introduced a bill to change the name of "Estado de Palestina" (State of Palestine) Street to "Bibas Family Street."
Beyond commemorating the Bibas family, Santoro said that his proposal also aims to revoke official recognition of the Palestinian Authority, which he claims is controlled by Hamas and Islamic Jihad. "I don’t believe Buenos Aires should acknowledge such an entity," he added.
The proposal must secure a majority vote in the local congress, with discussions set to begin when the legislative session opens on the first of March.

If this fails, Netanyahu’s alternative—aligned with the so-called "generals' plan"—is to resume intense military operations, create civilian safe zones, and restrict humanitarian aid distribution to those areas under international oversight.
According to Haaretz, Netanyahu is waiting for the new Israeli army chief of staff, Eyal Zamir, to assume command and finalize a detailed strategy. The plan reportedly includes the destruction of all buildings in Gaza City, refugee camps in central Gaza, and Khan Yunis, whether by airstrikes or ground operations.

❗️HTS-led Religious Endowment forces stormed the shrine of Sayyeda Zaynab, closed it, took control of all its administrative offices, and expelled its workers.
Yesterday, the transitional Syrian government terminated the appointment of Sheikh Adham al-Khatib, banned him from leading congregational prayers, took over Al-Mustafa Mosque, humiliated worshippers in the Sidi Miqdad area in the countryside of Damascus, and annexed the mosque to the Ministry of Religious Endowment, despite it being privately owned.
They also removed pictures of scholars and insulted Shia religious symbols, saying "put the photos next to the shoes."

Senior Hamas leader and director of international affairs, Moussa Abu Marzouk, stated in an interview with The New York Times that he would not have supported Operation Al-Aqsa Flood had he known the extent of destruction caused by Israel's war on Gaza.
“If it was expected that what happened would happen, there wouldn’t have been October 7,” he said.
When asked by the interviewer, Abu Marzouk also expressed willingness to discuss the group's weapons, stating, “We are ready to speak about every issue. Any issue that is put on the table, we need to speak about it.”

⭕️ Israel continues to delay the release of 620 Palestinian prisoners as part of the seventh round of the prisoner-exchange agreement with the Palestinian resistance.
After several Israeli captives were freed early Saturday, Netanyahu’s office later announced that the Palestinian prisoners would not be released until there were guarantees that the remaining Israeli captives would be freed "without degrading rituals."
In response, Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanou stated on Monday that the movement would not engage in any new ceasefire talks or prisoner exchanges until Israel fully meets the first stage requirements of the agreement, accusing Netanyahu of blocking progress for personal gain and endangering the lives of the remaining Israeli captives. He also noted that "the failure to implement the humanitarian protocol and the postponement of the release of the seventh batch of prisoners is evidence of the occupation's intentions to disrupt the agreement and its lack of seriousness in continuing it."
