How Syria's HTS is quietly dismantling the Palestinian cause
Under Ahmad al-Sharaa's direction, Syria’s new Islamist leaders are systematically sidelining Palestinian factions, favoring the US-backed PA, dismantling Iran-linked groups, and reshaping refugee dynamics in alignment with a broader US-backed strategy to neutralize the Palestinian resistance.

⭕️Prominent Palestinian resistance leader and freed prisoner Jabr Ali Abdullah Ammar has died after succumbing to wounds sustained in a recent Israeli airstrike on Gaza.
The Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Popular Resistance Committees, has mourned Ammar in an official statement, hailing him as a national figure who dedicated his life to jihad, resistance, and the establishment of Islamic resistance ideology.
Ammar, known as "Abu Ali," spent over 14 years in Israeli prisons after his arrest in 1969 and was released in a prisoner exchange deal in 1985.
While imprisoned, he co-founded the Islamic movement inside Israeli jails and became a symbol of resilience and leadership. After his release and decades of exile across Lebanon, Algeria, Tunisia, and Sudan, Ammar eventually returned to Gaza, where he continued his role in guiding resistance fighters.
The brigades affirmed that Israeli crimes and cowardly assassinations will not break the will of the Palestinian people, vowing to carry on the legacy of their fallen leaders until victory and liberation are achieved.

⭕️ Hundreds of Palestinians in north Gaza’s Beit Lahia and Jabalia gathered to protest Israel’s brutal war on Gaza and demand an end to the genocide.
During the demonstrations, chants directed against Hamas were documented, calling on the movement to concede power to an international committee. This prompted the Fatah movement to release a statement urging Hamas to answer the call of those protesting, “disengage from its regional and external ties,” and “stop using the Palestinian people and cause for unrelated goals.”
Israeli and anti-Hamas media quickly jumped at the opportunity to exploit the protests to push the narrative that Hamas is to blame for the Palestinian people’s suffering in Gaza—despite Israel having dropped over 100,000 tons of explosives on the territory, according to the Government Media Office—and argue that Israel's 'military pressure' on the strip is yielding results.

The final words of the freed Palestinian prisoner Baraa Maskawi, who was killed in an hours-long clash with Israeli occupation forces in Qalqiliya, Jenin, occupied West Bank.
Baraa was released last December after 22 months in Israeli prison. He was pursued and besieged in a store, and was targeted with an "Energa" missile.
A day earlier, his father and two uncles were abducted by Israel in an attempt to pressure him into surrendering. Instead, Baraa chose to resist until his final moments.
