❗️Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz:

"Israel is fighting Hamas and will defeat Hamas. Let me be clear - Israel is not fighting the civilians in Gaza and is doing everything that international law requires to mitigate harm to civilians.

But when Hamas fights in civilian dress, from civilian homes, and from behind civilians, it puts civilians in danger and they pay a horrible price. That is why we are urging Gazans to evacuate combat zones.

I reiterate - we will not stop until our hostages are released and Hamas is no longer in control of the Gaza Strip and is no longer a threat to Israel and Israelis."

⭕️ Israeli security sources tell Walla News that military officials recently held urgent discussions about Syria's attempts to rebuild air defenses and missile capabilities under its new leadership.

"A confrontation between Turkiye and Israel in Syria is inevitable," a senior Israeli security official warned. Israel aims to maintain air superiority and prevent any Syrian military upgrades, viewing them as direct threats.

Reports reveal Syria is negotiating with Turkiye to transfer a strategic Palmyra outpost in exchange for economic and military aid. Israel strongly opposes this move, fearing it could give Turkey future access to southern Syria.

Israeli officials would prefer Russia's return under its prior agreement with Assad, believing Moscow could stabilize the region better than Ankara.

Meanwhile, Channel 12 reported Netanyahu recently held security talks on Turkiye's growing role in Syria, with analysts suggesting he may be exaggerating the threat to distract from domestic crises.

❗️Gaza Civil Defense:

○ "Early Sunday morning, the Tal al-Sultan rescue team received distress calls to urgently head to Al-Hashashin, west of Rafah, following a sudden Israeli military incursion that left dozens of civilians killed and wounded, while also trapping Palestinian Red Crescent medical teams."

○ "A Civil Defense team of six emergency responders was immediately dispatched to provide humanitarian aid and rescue the wounded. However, neither our team nor the Red Crescent team has returned, and all communication with them has been lost. Their fate remains unknown—are they alive, martyred, or taken captive?"

○ "This dangerous incident places both our teams and Red Crescent medical staff at grave risk, jeopardizing the lives of approximately 50,000 displaced civilians who fled their homes and shelters, leaving them stranded without medical and humanitarian aid."

○ "We strongly warn of renewed suffering for thousands of displaced people in Rafah, who were previously forced to flee their homes and shelters on 19 January due to the ceasefire agreement but are now facing another forced displacement by the Israeli army."

○ "We also warn the Israeli occupation against continuing to besiege our rescue teams and medical staff, preventing them from fulfilling their humanitarian duties—this constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law."

○ "We hold Israel fully responsible for the lives of our missing teams and condemn the international community’s silence in the face of ongoing Israeli violations of international and humanitarian laws."

○ "We call on the sponsors of the ceasefire agreement and the International Committee of the Red Cross to immediately intervene to save our teams before it is too late and to ensure their safe return to their humanitarian mission."
