⭕️ German immigration authorities have ordered four activists—three EU nationals and one American—to leave Germany following their participation in pro-Palestine protests, according to a lawyer representing two of them.
The activists, consisting of two Irish citizens, one Polish national, and an American, were told they must leave by 21 April or risk deportation.
In a joint statement on Tuesday, the group claimed their expulsion was an effort to “silence pro-Palestinian voices and political dissent.”
Alexander Gorski, a lawyer specializing in criminal defense and migration who represents two of the protesters in Berlin, stated that he had never encountered a deportation case that cited Staatsräson—the principle that Israel’s security is integral to Germany’s national interest—as a justification for the decision.
