⭕️ L’Orient Today reported that during the meetings with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, US envoy Morgan Ortagus commended "the measures taken by Lebanon at Beirut International Airport," and called for the continued enforcement of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, though she did not specify a timeline. Her discussions also touched on the importance of Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon and efforts to rebuild areas affected by the war.
She stressed the value of resolving border disputes and outstanding matters with Israel. In response, Lebanese officials proposed either forming a technical military committee—modeled on the one that was used previously for maritime border talks—or reviving a shuttle diplomacy approach like that of former US envoy Amos Hochstein. Ortagus responded positively to these suggestions.

In a video statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Qatar is not an enemy. In defense of his aides, he says that Opposition Leader Yair Lapid, MK Benny Gantz, and Shin Bet Director Ronen Bar have all visited Qatar and praised it.
Shin Bet rejected Netanyahu's claim of Bar being invited by Qatar to VIP sections of football matches at the 2022 World Cup, issuing a statement saying:
“This was not a case of watching a game, but rather a tour and series of work meetings, some of which were held in the stadium during the World Cup matches."
Shin Bet said that Israel set up an international operations center, in where the heads of the Mossad, Shin Bet, and Israeli army intelligence visited to oversee their teams’ work and ensure Israeli attendees' safety.
Shin Bet added that several meetings with professionals and officials were conducted inside the stadiums at the hosts’ request.

⭕️ According to the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC), Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea hosted US envoy Morgan Ortagus at his home for an in-depth discussion on both domestic and regional developments in Lebanon.
LBC reports that "The U.S. delegation and Lebanese officials stressed the need for the Lebanese state to extend its authority over all its territory, disarm Lebanese and non-Lebanese militias, secure the Syrian border, ensure full control of air and sea ports, and finalize Israel's withdrawal from remaining occupied areas in South Lebanon."
Geagea reportedly told Ortagus that that the disarmament of 'illegal armed groups' is a key demand for many in Lebanon, calling it the only route to establishing an effective and sovereign state.
