❗️Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkiye, and Bulgaria have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate on a new green energy corridor.
The agreement was signed during the 11th Southern Gas Corridor and 3rd Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meetings in Baku on 4 April.
Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on X, “This marks the launch of another regional project in the field of green energy, with Azerbaijan as the source.”
He added that the project will boost renewable energy transmission, trade, and regional energy security.

⭕️ According to Reuters, the US Senate voted down an attempt to prevent $8.8 billion in arms sales to Israel on Thursday.
With votes of 82-15 and 83-15, lawmakers rejected two resolutions aimed at blocking the sale of heavy bombs and other weapons. The resolutions to prevent the arms sales were put forward by Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
During his speech, Sanders highlighted the civilian death toll and the worsening malnutrition and starvation among children, exacerbated by recent aid blockages.
He stated, "What is happening now is unimaginable. It has been 31 days and counting without any humanitarian aid reaching Gaza, nothing at all. No food, no water, no medicine, no fuel, for over a month."

⭕️ According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, over the past 24 hours, more than 86 Palestinians were killed and over 280 injured as Israel carried out some of its heaviest and most relentless bombing across the Gaza Strip in one of the war’s most brutal nights.
Palestinian journalist Khalil Abu Elias posted on Facebook:

“The Lebanese Army has detained members of a UNIFIL (UN Interim Force in Lebanon) patrol on the road to the town of Qouqaba after they entered the Kfar Hamam area in Arqoub without coordinating with the Lebanese Army and failed to comply with orders at a Lebanese Army checkpoint at the town’s entrance.
Contacts were made with UNIFIL leadership to protest the actions of the Finnish unit, which operated outside the framework of coordination and did not comply with the army’s checkpoint instructions.”
