⭕️ Israel has approved guided tours for settlers in occupied southern Syrian territory during the Jewish Passover holiday, which begins on 12 April. As part of this plan, the army will open the border fence at two specific locations under its control.
This move facilitates tours organized by two "educational" institutions, Midreshet HaGolan and Midreshet Keshet Yonatan, into Wadi al-Ruqqad, a valley on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights that features a tributary of the Yarmouk River.
An invitation posted on the Hebrew website Kipa, states that the two institutions, "in cooperation with the Northern Command of the army and the 210th Division, invite the public to participate for the first time in tours to Wadi al-Ruqqad, located outside the Israeli-Syrian border... Until a few months ago, only a few Israelis were permitted to visit the valley." The tours, according to the announcement, "will be held during the Pesach (Passover) holiday, twice daily, a morning tour and an afternoon tour."

⭕️ According to Reuters, the US Senate voted down an attempt to prevent $8.8 billion in arms sales to Israel on Thursday.
With votes of 82-15 and 83-15, lawmakers rejected two resolutions aimed at blocking the sale of heavy bombs and other weapons. The resolutions to prevent the arms sales were put forward by Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
During his speech, Sanders highlighted the civilian death toll and the worsening malnutrition and starvation among children, exacerbated by recent aid blockages.
He stated, "What is happening now is unimaginable. It has been 31 days and counting without any humanitarian aid reaching Gaza, nothing at all. No food, no water, no medicine, no fuel, for over a month."
