⭕️ Eighteen months into their genocidal war on Gaza, Israeli occupation forces have reportedly destroyed only 25% of the tunnels used by the Palestinian resistance in the strip, according to a Haaretz security source.

The reports emerge as Israel renews its offensive across Gaza—particularly in Rafah, where it had previously claimed to have defeated Hamas—while expanding buffer zones in both northern and southern areas of the strip.

❗️Hamas

– "What the city of Rafah is witnessing in terms of the bombing of homes and residential blocks, and the destruction of infrastructure, represents a dangerous escalation in the brutal genocide war against our people. It is a desperate attempt to claim a military achievement through the commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity—flagrant violations of international law—carried out by the head of the fascist Zionist government before the eyes and ears of the entire world."

– "The announcement by the criminal Netanyahu of the establishment of what he called 'Philadelphia Corridor 2,' and the actions of the fascist occupation army to impose a new reality in the city of Rafah, isolate it from the rest of the Gaza Strip, forcibly displace its residents, and annex it to what is known as the buffer zone on the border with our sister country Egypt, confirms that the criminal, Nazi-like occupation does not only target Rafah. Rather, it seeks to completely isolate Gaza from its Arab depth and deprive our people of their only gateway to the outside world."

– "What is happening in Rafah embodies a flagrant model of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement. This could not have happened without the regional and international silence, and the absence of decisive and deterrent decisions against the leaders of the criminal fascist occupation government. This necessitates urgent action by the international community, and Arab and Islamic nations, to stop it."

⭕️ Iraq has signed two energy deals with US companies to double its electricity production to 54,000 megawatts.

The first, with GE Vernova, involves building gas power plants producing 24,000MW. The second, with UGT Renewables, sets up a 3MW solar project with international financing and a two-year tech transfer plan.

The move follows the US decision not to renew a sanctions waiver allowing Iraq to buy power from Iran.

⭕️ Gaza – The Palestinian NGOs Network confirmed in its latest report that at least two million people have been forcibly displaced in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli aggression, with residents forced to flee dozens of times under relentless bombing.

The report added that the Israeli occupation is planning to establish detention camps to confine the displaced as a prelude to their expulsion.

The network stressed that the ongoing siege, now in its 40th day, has prevented the entry of basic necessities such as food, medicine, and water, leaving Gaza facing mass extermination through bombing and starvation.

The report also pointed out that 60,000 children are at risk of disease due to famine, while the occupation refuses to vaccinate children against dangerous illnesses—posing a biological threat to the population in the strip.

⭕️ Ekrem Imamoglu, the Turkish Republican People's Partys (CHP) presidential candidate and former Istanbul mayor who was arrested over investigations targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), is set to appear in court tomorrow in two separate cases.

The first trial concerns remarks Imamoglu made about Istanbul’s Chief Public Prosecutor Akin Gurlek, criticizing him and labeling investigations into CHP-run municipalities as politically motivated. He is being charged with "targeting individuals involved in anti-terror efforts” — a crime punishable by up to 7 years and 4 months in prison, and could result in a ban from public office and loss of political rights.

In a second case, Imamoglu is also facing trial today over allegations of rigging a public tender during his term as mayor of Beylikduzu, a district of Istanbul.
