❗️Yemeni officials have sharply rejected the STC’s declaration.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, Yemeni Deputy Minister of Justice of the Saudi-backed internationally recognized government Faisal al-Majidi said the STC’s constitutional declaration carries no legal value, stressing that several Yemeni political components do not accept the move. He warned that the STC itself understands that no viable state can exist without Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra, adding that recent developments in Hadhramaut are likely to cause deep fractures within the southern cause.
Separately, Yemeni Shura Council member Salah Batis described the declaration as illegal, calling it an act of rebellion and a coup against the Yemeni state.

These statements are not new, but rather a regurgitation of an old colonial lie that falsely claimed Palestine was “a land without a people,” deliberately ignoring the deep-rooted historical presence of the Palestinian people and their ancient civilization on this land. They represent a desperate attempt to turn the rightful indigenous owners into “guests” and the occupier into the “owner,” a distortion that provokes both contempt and disgust.
The unalterable truth is that all of Palestine, from the sea to the river, is occupied land, and that the Palestinian people are its legitimate and historical owners. The occupying entity possesses not a single piece of evidence to refute this fact, relying instead on myths, illusions, and the falsification of reality.
The decades-long resistance of our people, the sacrifices of lives and children, and their steadfast attachment to every inch of their land—contrasted with the rush of imported settlers from across the world fleeing to the doors of foreign embassies—stand as a living and irrefutable proof of who the true owners of the land are.
The ramblings of the so-called culture minister do not merely falsify history; they also constitute a real danger, embodying hate speech and providing justification for war crimes, the continuation of occupation, and settlement expansion.
We, the sons and daughters of the Palestinian people, are the rightful owners of the land. The occupying settlers are transient intruders. Time will prove that we remain, and that the occupation will inevitably come to an end, sooner or later.
❗️Israel's 'culture' minister says 'Gaza is ours,' dismisses Palestinians as 'guests'
Israel’s "culture" minister has openly declared that Gaza belongs to Israel, describing the more than two million Palestinians living there as mere “guests” whose presence is tolerated only temporarily. The remarks were made by Likud lawmaker Miki Zohar during a radio interview.
Zohar’s comments came as he threatened to cut state funding to the Israeli film industry after the Ophir Award went to The Sea, a film portraying a Palestinian child from the occupied West Bank barred from reaching the coast by Israeli forces. The minister complained that the film portrayed Israel as an apartheid state and cast Israeli soldiers in a negative light.
Pressed on whether Gaza remains under occupation, Zohar rejected the notion outright, insisting that both the occupied West Bank and Gaza are Israeli territory. He added that artists seeking public funding should produce work that flatters Israeli narratives rather than exposing realities that resonate with European audiences.
