Palestinian lawmaker Ayman Odeh, head of the Hadash alliance and member of Israel’s Knesset, has called on the Israel Police Commissioner to immediately release body camera footage of the officers involved in the killing of Mohammad Hussein in the Negev (occupied Al-Naqab) on Saturday.
In a letter to the police, Odeh highlighted “significant discrepancies between the police version and the testimonies of residents,” stressing that the incident represents a serious use of lethal force resulting in the loss of human life.
Odeh added: “Two days ago, the police killed Mohammad Hussein. Six children woke up in the morning without a father. There is one version from the police, and harsh testimonies from the field.
