⭕️ Britain is keeping a close watch on developments in West Asia but has not made any changes to its staffing in the region, a spokesperson for Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Thursday, following the US decision to relocate some personnel over security concerns.
"The safety of our staff is clearly our top priority so we are monitoring the situation closely but I don't have an update ... in terms of any partial evacuation or otherwise of our own embassies," the spokesperson told reporters.

Argentinian President Javier Milei announced on 11 June that his government will relocate its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2026, signaling deeper alignment with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s increasingly isolated administration. Speaking before the Israeli Knesset during his second state visit since taking office, Milei said he was “proud” to confirm the move, declaring that “Argentina stands by you in these difficult days.”
Milei also used the address to attack Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, who was detained and deported by Israeli forces after joining a Gaza-bound aid flotilla earlier this week. He accused Thunberg of being a “hired gun for a bit of media attention,” while reaffirming support for Israeli hostages, including four Argentine nationals held in Gaza.

❗️UK training Israeli troops on British soil despite Gaza genocide allegations
The British Ministry of Defense has confirmed that Israeli army personnel are currently undergoing training in the UK, despite mounting allegations of genocide and war crimes in Gaza. Responding to a question in parliament on 12 June, Armed Forces Minister Luke Pollard said that “a limited number” of Israeli soldiers are attending UK-based military courses as part of routine defense cooperation.
The disclosure comes as the UK maintains steadfast support for Israel’s war on Gaza, even after the ICJ ruled that the genocide case against Israel has legal grounds to proceed, and several governments, rights groups, and legal experts have labeled the campaign an act of genocide.
❗️The eight volunteers from the Madleen vessel who were detained by Israel 3 days ago are set to be deported in the coming days, according to their legal advisers.
