❗️Iran calls US travel ban racist
Alireza Hashemi Raja, director general for the affairs of Iranians abroad at the foreign ministry, described the US travel ban, set to come into force on 9 June, as “a clear sign of the dominance of a supremacist and racist mentality among American policymakers."
He further stated in a ministry release issued Saturday that the decision “indicates the deep hostility of American decision-makers towards the Iranian and Muslim people."
❗️Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich says Israel has a plan to escalate in the occupied West Bank if France and other European states push ahead with recognition of a Palestinian state.
The plan includes annexing Area C, forcibly displacing the residents of Khan al-Ahmar, and destabilising the Palestinian banking system.
❗️At least 24 Palestinians have been killed so far today in ongoing Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources on the ground.

The UN’s top human rights official has called on the US government to revoke the sanctions it imposed on Thursday targeting four judges from the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In a statement, Volker Turk emphasized that “attacks against judges” are in direct contradiction to “respect for the rule of law and the equal protection of the law – values for which the US has long stood.”
❗️Boston Consulting Group fires two employees who worked in Gaza Humanitarian Foundation
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) announced it has dismissed two partners based in North America who took part in the US-Israeli Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) scheme.
The firm said an internal probe revealed the partners failed to disclose information about the pro-bono project during the client vetting stage.
“In violation of BCG’s policies and protocols, the partners carried out subsequent unauthorized work,” the firm said in a written statement.
❗️New Qatargate leaks raise suspicions around Netanyahu’s inner circle amid internal turmoil
In recent days, Israeli authorities have obtained a substantial number of documents suggesting that several individuals linked to the Qatargate affair, including key suspects Jonatan Urich and Eli Feldstein, may have received payments in return for advancing Qatari interests both in Israel and abroad.
The documents, handed over to the Tax Authority and the Israel Money Laundering and Terror Financing Prohibition Authority, contain details about British firms as well as Israeli and international businessmen suspected of acting as go-betweens for the financial transfers.
Investigators suspect the transactions were structured to hide their Qatari origin and avoid taxes on sums totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars.

❗️On the first day of Eid al-Adha, an Israeli airstrike leveled the Jabalia al-Balad home of photojournalist Abdulraheem Khader, killing 48 members of his extended family - most of them children.
Khader had left for work that morning. He only learned of the massacre when neighbors called to tell him his house had been hit. By the time he returned, nothing was left but rubble.

⭕️ The owner of two buildings destroyed by Israel last night in Beirut's southern suburb said on television that the structures, which are quite old, were rented from the Maronite Church and that his family lives there.
He stated that a warehouse in one of them, which Israel claimed was a Hezbollah UAV production facility, was completely empty. Tenants were not even allowed to use it, he said, in order to ensure comfort and avoid any potential risks.
He added that he had personally contacted the Lebanese army to inspect the site and confirm it was empty. However, according to him, the moment the army arrived, an Israeli strike was launched.
He also stressed that the warehouse sustained only minor damage and remains accessible, inviting live television crews to go and see for themselves how deserted and empty it is.

❗️ French grandmother Jacqueline Rivault files a legal complaint in Paris over the Israeli military’s killing of her two grandchildren - Janna, 6, and Abderrahim, 9 - both French nationals.
The children were killed on 24 October 2023 when two Israeli F-16 missiles strike their shelter between Faluja and Beit Lahia.
The legal complaint was filed with the Paris Court’s crimes against humanity division, the complaint states that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, led by officials including Netanyahu.
