Iran will soon submit a formal counter-proposal to the US through Oman in response to what it called an “unacceptable” offer in the latest round of nuclear talks. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqaei said the new proposal will be “reasonable, logical, and balanced,” and emphasized that sanctions relief must translate into actual economic benefits, including the restoration of normal banking and trade relations. He noted that the US proposal did not reflect prior negotiation rounds and failed to resolve key disputes on uranium enrichment and the fate of Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium.
Baqaei also criticized the West for ignoring Israel’s undeclared nuclear arsenal, calling on the international community to pursue its disarmament. Tehran has repeatedly warned that certain sensitive Israeli documents in its possession expose Western complicity in enabling Israel’s nuclear weapons program. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei recently dismissed the US offer, vowing that Iran would continue enrichment on its own soil. No date has been set for a sixth round of direct talks.

- The so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" has caused the deaths of 130 Palestinians and injured around 1,000 others.
- The foundation is spreading lies and falsely claiming that the resistance is threatening it and preventing it from distributing aid.
- Any organization that claims to be humanitarian while implementing military plans cannot be considered a relief organization.

We call on the relevant authorities to urgently coordinate the resumption of the Mekorot water pipeline and return it to its previous state of operation.

Police officer and serviceman killed in Israeli strike on police unit in Nuseirat camp
The Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip condemns the Israeli occupation’s crime of bombing a police unit while it was carrying out its duty to protect citizens’ property and pursue a group of thieves in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza last night. The strike led to the martyrdom of an officer, a police serviceman, and a third civilian bystander, while several others were injured.
As the Ministry mourns the martyrs of this latest Israeli crime, it affirms that the police forces will continue to fulfill their national and humanitarian duty toward our people. Repeated Israeli targeting will not prevent them from carrying out their responsibilities.
The occupation’s bet on spreading chaos, sabotage, and the looting of aid through its agents - while shielding criminal gangs - will fail.
We call on the international community to urgently intervene to halt the Israeli occupation’s attacks on police forces and the killing of its personnel, which aim to fuel disorder and lawlessness in Gaza. These acts are part of a broader policy of engineered starvation carried out by blocking the entry and distribution of aid via recognised UN agencies.

❗️Hamas has condemned the Israeli seizure of the Madleen aid ship, calling it “an act of state-sponsored terrorism” and “piracy” committed in international waters by the Israeli occupation forces.
“We strongly condemn the act of piracy committed by the Israeli occupation forces by intercepting the Madleen solidarity ship in international waters, as this is an act of state-sponsored terrorism,” the group said in a statement. “We salute the activists of different nationalities who affirmed that Gaza is not alone. The Madleen and upcoming land convoys from Algeria, Tunisia, Jordan, and elsewhere are living proof of the failure of Zionist propaganda.”

——
Iraq is set to save nearly $17 billion annually by reducing gas flaring at major oilfields through new development projects led by BP, TotalEnergies, and other international partners, according to Oil Ministry undersecretary for gas Izzat Ismail.
The country has increased its gas investment ratio from 53% in 2022 to 70% in 2024, with further gains expected as projects progress.
TotalEnergies is developing the Artawi gas field in Basra as part of a $10 billion initiative, while BP is working in Kirkuk on a contract that includes boosting oil and gas output and building a 400 MW power plant.
Iraq aims to eliminate gas imports within five years and begin exporting gas by 2030, a significant shift for the OPEC producer long reliant on foreign energy supplies.

❗️Tunisian civil coalition launches land convoy to break siege on Gaza
A coalition of Tunisian civil society groups has organized a large-scale land convoy to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza and challenge the ongoing Israeli siege. Dubbed the Sumud Convoy, the mission is scheduled to depart on 9 June 2025 via Libya and Egypt toward the Rafah crossing, which remains closed by Israel. Organizers say over 7,500 volunteers have joined the effort since 13 May, including members of Tunisia’s football ultras known for their history of political activism.
While the Freedom Flotilla draws global media attention, Tunisian organizers stress this initiative is both humanitarian and political in nature, aimed at confronting Israel’s blockade and what they describe as a policy of enforced starvation. The convoy includes medical and food supplies and is being coordinated by the Tunisian Coordination for Joint Action for Palestine in collaboration with local solidarity groups. Calls are growing to amplify the convoy’s visibility amid fears of obstruction or targeting.
