❗️Iraq, Turkiye agree to restart Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil exports after two-year freeze

Iraq and Turkiye have agreed to resume oil exports through the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline, shut since March 2023 after arbitration disputes.

Baghdad’s State Oil Marketing Organisation (SOMO) reached a deal with Turkish firms, alongside a parallel revenue-sharing arrangement with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) covering oil and non-oil income.

Erbil has urged Baghdad to release overdue public salaries, with a KRG delegation set to visit the capital this week to finalize details.

The pipeline, once carrying 400,000 barrels per day, is expected to play a key role in easing disputes over revenue management and distribution.

❗️Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP):

"The Popular Front extends its warmest condolences and deepest sympathy to the brotherly Lebanese people, to their valiant resistance, and to the families of the martyrs, on the martyrdom of five Lebanese citizens, including children, in a treacherous Zionist airstrike that targeted the city of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon last night.

This heinous massacre is a new episode in the long series of Zionist aggressions against Lebanon and the entire nation, carried out with full American sponsorship and partnership. It coincides with the genocidal war waged by the Zionist entity on the Gaza Strip, its systematic crimes, and its plans to fully annex the occupied West Bank. It is yet another addition to this entity’s bloody record of crimes, massacres, and terrorism.

This crime is conclusive proof that the Zionist enemy is the enemy of the entire nation, and that confronting it and resisting its expansionist and criminal schemes must be an urgent Arab and international priority.

We affirm that the path of comprehensive confrontation, through all legitimate means, is the only way to ward off the danger of this criminal enemy and guarantee the security and freedom of the region."

❗️US imposes new sanctions on Iran-linked entities in Hong Kong and UAE

The US announced a new set of Iran-related sanctions today, targeting individuals and companies it accused of funding Tehran’s military, including entities based in Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates, according to the Treasury Department.

Officials said those sanctioned were involved in transferring funds, including proceeds from Iranian oil sales, to support the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force and the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL).

"Iranian 'shadow banking' networks like these—run by trusted illicit financial facilitators—abuse the international financial system, and evade sanctions by laundering money through overseas front companies and cryptocurrency," the department said in a statement.
