❗️UK to grant police new powers after latest pro-Palestine protest

British police will be granted new powers to limit repeat protests in the same location, the government announced today, following a pro-Palestinian demonstration that went ahead despite calls for its cancellation after the Manchester synagogue attack.

The interior ministry said the new powers would allow senior officers to assess the cumulative impact of prior protests on local communities.

Interior Minister Shabana Mahmood said, “Large, repeated protests can leave sections of our country, particularly religious communities, feeling unsafe, intimidated and scared to leave their homes."

On Saturday, nearly 500 people were arrested in central London during a protest supporting Palestine Action, after Prime Minister Keir Starmer had urged organizers to cancel the demonstration.

⭕️ Hamas's Khalil al-Hayya speaks for first time since Doha strike

Senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya appeared for the first time since surviving an Israeli strike in Doha last month, mourning his son and colleagues while reaffirming that his personal grief is part of the collective suffering of his people.

In a recorded address aired by Al-Araby TV, Hayya — who heads Hamas’s negotiating team in the Qatar and Egypt-mediated ceasefire talks — said:

“Today we live in the shadow of pain and in the shadow of pride and dignity … What I see every day of killing, tyranny, assassinations, and destruction in Gaza makes me forget the pain of losing my loved ones ... I do not differentiate between my son Hammam and any Palestinian child in Gaza killed by the occupation.”

Hayya described those killed, including his son, as martyrs whose blood “paves the way to liberation,” emphasizing that Gaza’s sacrifices today “represent the nation through their struggle, patience, and endurance.”

– "We will not proceed to any of the 21 clauses of the Trump plan until the first clause – the release of all the hostages, living and deceased, until the last of the hostages, every single one of them, has crossed into Israeli territory – we will not proceed to any other clause."

– "The Palestinian Authority will not govern Gaza the day after. No representative of Hamas and no representative of the Palestinian Authority will be involved in controlling the Gaza Strip."

– "If the hostages are not released by the deadline that President Donald Trump set – Israel will return to fighting with the full support of all the involved countries."

❗️US Secretary of State Marco Rubio tells ABC News that there will be no peace in Gaza as long as “Hamas or any successor organization” exists, and accused Hamas of wanting to "rape" Israelis:

Yeah. Look, that's going to be a key component of that second phase we just discussed. As long as as long as there's a threat emanating from Gaza against Israel security, be it Hamas or some successor organization, as long as there are people, organizations inside of Gaza who possess rockets, build tunnels, want to kidnap, murder and rape, Israeli citizens and attack Israel, there isn't going to be peace. Everyone knows this, including the Arab countries in the region, which is why they all signed on to this deal put forward by President Trump, that deals with the fact that what Israel wants, what we want with the deal envisions with the countries in the region envision is a Gaza that's run by Palestinian technocrats and Palestinian civil servants and Palestinian leaders that do not pose a threat to Israel.

⭕️ OPEC+ agrees to 137,000 bpd output increase for November

OPEC+ is set to increase oil production by 137,000 barrels per day (bpd) starting in November, matching the rise agreed for October.

Ahead of the meeting, Russia and Saudi Arabia, the two leading producers in the OPEC+ alliance, held differing positions.

Russia pushed for a small increase, identical to October’s, while Saudi Arabia was in favor of a significantly larger hike, potentially double, triple, or even quadruple that amount, at 274,000 bpd, 411,000 bpd, or 548,000 bpd, respectively.

❗️Israel plans to maintain permanent military occupation in Gaza under Trump plan

Israeli state broadcaster KAN reported that Tel Aviv has informed Washington of its intention to maintain a long-term military presence at three strategic locations in Gaza even after the prisoner exchange and phased withdrawal outlined in Trump’s plan. The positions include a buffer zone inside Gaza, the Philadelphi Corridor along the Egyptian border, and “Hill 70” (Tal al-70 or Tal al-Mantar) — a site located east of Shujaiya in Gaza City.

The report added that Washington “understands Israel’s need” to keep troops stationed at these sites beyond the first withdrawal phase. Under the plan, Israeli forces would begin pulling back once all captives are recovered, initially repositioning along an internal “yellow line” before retreating to a “red line,” where foreign troops operating under a US mandate would take over security management.

⭕️ Manufacturing dissent: How Israel manipulates Iran’s Twittersphere

A new independent investigation by Social Forensics, funded by the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), has exposed an extensive Israeli government-linked network of fake Twitter accounts built to dominate Persian-language discourse and amplify anti-Iran narratives after the 2022 death of Mahsa Amini.

The report analyzed 1.5 million tweets from 213,000 accounts, uncovering a web of coordinated inauthentic behavior designed to manipulate perceptions of Iran and flood social media with anti-government sentiment.

The data shows that nearly half the accounts were created in 2021–2022, and a quarter appeared after Amini’s death, suggesting state-backed mass production of bot accounts. Many featured crown emojis and Reza Pahlavi slogans, posing as monarchist supporters to fabricate the illusion of a massive anti-regime movement.

According to the investigation, 95% of these “monarchist” accounts were fake, used to push hashtags, distort public opinion, and target Iranian diaspora figures who advocate diplomacy or criticize Israel’s influence campaigns.

Researchers traced coordination within the network to Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its official Persian-language account (@IsraelPersian), which follows and interacts with dozens of these fake accounts. The ministry’s director of Persian media, Sharona Soleimany Avginsaz, and Netanyahu’s social media adviser Hananya Naftali were both linked to the same amplification networks. Emily Schrader, another prominent pro-Israel digital operative, was similarly found to benefit from coordinated bot engagement within this network. Even Naftali’s Persian-language account — which he does not personally manage — was found to be artificially inflated by these bots.

The report concludes that this campaign reflects state-actor-level organization and relies on what Israel’s foreign ministry itself calls “algorithmic diplomacy” — a digital propaganda model using automated systems to manipulate narratives through code. The result is a powerful illusion: a Persian Twittersphere seemingly dominated by anti-Iran, pro-Israel voices — when much of it is a state-sponsored mirage of bots and propaganda.

⭕️ India resumes Iranian oil imports despite US sanctions pressure

India has re-emerged as a buyer of Iranian crude despite renewed US efforts to curb Tehran’s oil exports, Iranian and Indian officials confirmed.

Reza Sepahvand, a member of Iran’s parliamentary energy commission, said New Delhi has formally requested to resume oil imports from Iran ahead of the UN “snapback” sanctions.

While exact figures were not disclosed, Sepahvand estimated annual imports could reach around 10 million barrels.

Official data from India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry showed that New Delhi imported a crude shipment worth $111 million from Iran last week.

Between January and July 2025, India’s total imports of Iranian crude and petroleum products reached $205 million — accounting for 54 percent of Iran’s total exports to India during the same period.

Bloomberg previously reported that Indian officials told the Trump administration they could only scale back imports from Russia if allowed to purchase oil from other sanctioned producers, namely Iran and Venezuela.

‼️ CNN: Trump warns Hamas of 'Complete Obliteration!' If it stays in power in Gaza

US President Donald Trump told CNN that Hamas would face “complete obliteration” if it refuses to relinquish power and control of Gaza.

When asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper via text message on Saturday what would happen if Hamas insisted on staying in power, Trump replied, “Complete Obliteration!”

Tapper challenged Trump on Hamas’s reaction to his 20-point plan for Gaza, referencing Sen. Lindsey Graham’s view that Hamas had essentially rejected the plan by demanding “no disarmament, keeping Gaza under Palestinian control and tying hostage release to negotiations.”

“Is he wrong?” Tapper asked.

“We will find out. Only time will tell!!!” Trump responded.

Trump said he expects “soon” to know whether Hamas is truly committed to peace.

“Yes on Bibi,” Trump added when asked if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fully supports "ending the bombing campaign" on Gaza and backing the president's plan.

❗️Iran approves plan to drop four zeros from its currency

Iran’s parliament has approved a long-discussed plan to cut four zeros from its national currency over the coming years, aiming to simplify transactions after prolonged high inflation.

State media reported the approval on Sunday, noting that lawmakers had resolved earlier objections from the Guardian Council to advance the bill.

"The currency remains the Rial and changes won't be overnight," said Shamseddin Hosseini, head of parliament's economic commission, on state TV. "The central bank has up to two years to prepare the ground for this change. After that, there will be a transition period of three years when both denominations will be used."

However, the plan has faced criticism. "A national currency's prestige isn't revived by removing four zeros. Instead, that can only be done by strengthening the real value of the currency," Iranian MP Hossein Samsami told the Iranian Students News Agency today.
