❗️Israeli attacks have resulted in near-total collapse of Gaza's fishing sector
Sahat News reports that the fishing sector in Gaza has suffered a widespread collapse during the genocide, with over 5,000 fishermen losing their livelihoods after about 95% of boats and equipment were destroyed.
Only 150 fishermen remain working along the shore, catching no more than 300 kg of fish per day, compared to 10 tons produced daily before the war.
This sharp decline has directly impacted food security, as fish prices have risen and one of the main sources of protein for the population has disappeared amid the blockade and import restrictions.
Economically, the destruction of nearly 1,950 boats has pushed unemployment among fishermen to 97%, indicating a clear breakdown in the food value chain and worsening the economic contraction in the sector. Experts emphasize that reviving this vital sector requires opening the sea up to 20 nautical miles and compensating those affected, as a necessary step to restore part of the production capacity and ease the population’s living pressures.
❗️Israel's Elbit Systems sees profit rise from Gaza war, European customers
Israel's largest 'defense' firm Elbit reported an increase in its third-quarter profit today, compared to the previous quarter. The company said it earned $3.35 per diluted share last quarter, up from $2.21 a year earlier. Revenue rose by $20 billion, from $1.72 billion to $1.92 billion.
"These results reflect the significant contracts the company has secured across Europe and from customers worldwide, who continue to choose Elbit Systems' advanced systems amid the ongoing global conflicts and increasing defense budgets," CEO Bezhalel Machlis said.
Over 33% of Elbit's revenue came from Israel, while sales to Europe, which rose to $536 million from $430 million a year ago, compromise 28% of the total revenue.
WATCH | US Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene suggested on CNN that Jeffrey Epstein may have been “working for Israel,” implying that a foreign government could be pressuring President Donald Trump to keep the files concealed.
She pointed to emails detailing Epstein’s links to former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, business arrangements involving the Israeli government, and possible ties to Israeli intelligence.
“And I think the right question to ask is, was Jeffrey Epstein working for Israel?”
❗️National Campaign to Recover the Bodies of Martyrs:
“We condemn the alarming escalation in deliberate killings carried out by Israeli forces against Palestinian children, alongside the continued policy of withholding bodies, in blatant violation of all international laws and humanitarian standards.
Since the beginning of November, Israel has cold-bloodedly killed six Palestinian children (West Bank) and detained their bodies. They are:
Murad Fawzi Abu Seifen, 15
Abdullah Muhammad Atem, 16
Muhammad Rashad Fadl Qasim, 16
Bilal Baha Bar'an , 15
Mohammad Mahmoud Abu Ayash, 15
Jadallah Jihad Jumaa Jadallah, 15
The number of children whose bodies are being held in numbered graves and morgues has risen to 73 out of 752 documented martyrs. The campaign continues to document the occupation's ongoing detention of their bodies in its morgues and numbered cemeteries.”
❗️Joint statement by the Palestinian resistance factions:
– "We affirm that any foreign intervention in Gaza, no matter under what name it comes, is a violation of our national sovereignty and a continuation of the suffering of our people. The only way to achieve security and stability is to end the occupation, lift the siege, and respect the will of our people and their inalienable rights."
– "We express our confidence in the brotherly Algerian stance rejecting the US draft resolution, and we call on all Arab and Islamic countries, and the free people of the world, to stand against this resolution, reject any form of guardianship or foreign intervention, and defend Gaza's right to freedom, dignity, and independence."

❗️Iran: US replacing international law with 'force-based world order'
According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the US and its allies are dismantling the post-WWII legal order and replacing it with a “force-based” system that enables unchecked Israeli aggression.
Speaking at a Tehran conference titled “International Law under Assault, Aggression and Defense,” he said global norms are facing unprecedented erosion at a time when the world should be reaffirming the UN Charter’s principles.
Araghchi argued that Washington’s so-called “rules-based order,” a selectively applied framework used to justify hegemony and militarism, has devastated West Asia. He accused Israel, acting with US protection, of attacking seven countries in two years, expanding occupation zones, and committing atrocities including genocide and ethnic cleansing, while openly discussing plans for a “Greater Israel.”
He condemned Israel’s June attacks on Iranian territory, including civilian killings and strikes on nuclear facilities, calling them a serious violation of international law exacerbated by US involvement.
Araghchi said the world now faces a choice between a hegemonic, militarized global system and a genuinely law-based order, which Iran, he emphasized, is committed to pursuing alongside the Global South.

⭕️ Headline of Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth reads: 'The deal: Israel gives up the ‘qualitative military edge’; Saudi Arabia gives up a Palestinian state.'
——
Israeli security officials warn that selling F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia poses a “clear and immediate danger.”
According to the paper, the emerging deal is framed as follows: Israel gives up its security superiority, and Saudi Arabia gives up the Palestinian state.
Amid Trump administration plans to supply Riyadh with dozens of advanced aircraft, a sharp divide has emerged between Israel’s security establishment and its political leadership.
An Israeli security source cautioned that such a deal could undermine Israel’s ability to defend its airspace and voiced concern about the risks if Saudi Arabia were ever to 'fall into the hands of extremists.'
Yedioth Ahronoth notes that Netanyahu appears willing to pay this price in exchange for removing the prospect of a Palestinian state from the negotiating table.
Up until now, Saudi Arabia has maintained that normalization with Israel is only possible in exchange for establishing a Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, or at minimum, a clear and binding “pathway” toward it.
❗️Israeli court extends detention of autistic Palestinian boy sexually assaulted in prison
A Tel Aviv court has decided that a 14-year-old autistic Palestinian boy from Jaffa will stay behind bars despite having been sexually assaulted there.
The child suffered a series of sexual assaults by guards, as well as sexual and violent assaults by inmates, and was forced into isolation afterwards. Despite being assaulted, the child was given no medical examinations and according to his lawyer he did not see mental health officials.
The child is described as being in serious condition after the series of abuse and lack of medical attention.
❗️Statement by Hamas:
"In response to the UN Security Council's adoption of the US draft resolution on Gaza, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirms the following:
This resolution does not meet the level of our Palestinian people’s political and humanitarian demands and rights, particularly in the Gaza Strip, which for two years endured a brutal genocidal war and unprecedented crimes committed by the terrorist occupation in front of the entire world—the effects and repercussions of which remain ongoing despite the declaration of the war’s end according to President Trump’s plan.
The resolution imposes an international guardianship mechanism on the Gaza Strip, which our people and their factions reject. It also imposes a mechanism to achieve the occupation’s objectives, which it failed to accomplish through its brutal genocide. Furthermore, this resolution detaches the Gaza Strip from the rest of the Palestinian geography and attempts to impose new realities away from our people’s principles and legitimate national rights, thereby depriving our people of their right to self-determination and the establishment of their Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Resisting the occupation by all means is a legitimate right guaranteed by international laws and conventions. The weapons of the resistance are linked to the existence of the occupation, and any discussion of the weapons file must remain an internal national matter connected to a political path that ensures the end of the occupation, the establishment of the state [of Palestine], and self-determination.
Assigning the international force with tasks and roles inside the Gaza Strip, including disarming the resistance, strips it of its neutrality, and turns it into a party to the conflict in favor of the occupation. Any international force, if established, must be deployed only at the borders to separate forces, monitor the ceasefire, and must be fully under UN supervision. It must operate exclusively in coordination with official Palestinian institutions, without the occupation having any role in it, and work to ensure the flow of aid, without being turned into a security authority that pursues our people and their resistance.
Humanitarian aid, relief for the affected, and the opening of crossings are fundamental rights for our people in the Gaza Strip. Aid and relief operations cannot remain subject to politicization, blackmail, and subjugation to complex mechanisms amid the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe created by the occupation, which requires expediting the opening of crossings and mobilizing all resources to address it through the UN and its agencies, foremost among them UNRWA.
We call on the international community and the Security Council to uphold the international law and humanitarian values, and to adopt resolutions that achieve justice for Gaza and the Palestinian cause, through the actual cessation of the brutal genocidal war on Gaza, reconstruction, ending the occupation, and enabling our people to self-determination and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital."
'Shadowy' Israel-linked group advances displacement of Palestinians from Gaza: Report
Palestinian officials said the Al-Majd Europe group is a 'displacement agent,' deceiving and exploiting families from Gaza
❗️Haaretz newspaper reports that an unknown organization claiming to be a humanitarian group – run by an Israeli from Estonia – has evacuated hundreds of Gaza residents from the strip. Testimonies from Palestinians cited in the report said those who left the Gaza Strip through the so-called Al-Majd Europe association pledged not to return to Gaza and handed over all Palestinian documentation to the association's office in Israel, in exchange for being allowed to leave. According to the Haaretz investigation, Palestinian, anti-Hamas activist and journalist Moataz Azaiza is a member of this group, and carries out promotional tasks to encourage and facilitate the travel of Palestinians outside the Gaza Strip.

❗️Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem:
"The continued efforts to locate the remaining bodies of the Israeli captives, despite all the difficulties and complications, reflect Hamas’s full commitment to the war-ending agreement based on US President Trump’s plan.

❗️The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office announces that as part of the prisoner-exchange deal and ongoing efforts to secure the release of Palestinian women detainees from Gaza, the release of Tasneem al-Hams, daughter of the director of field hospitals in Gaza Marwan al-Hams, is expected today, Sunday, 16 November.
She was abducted by an Israeli special forces unit on 2 October 2025.
❗️Israeli news outlet Walla, citing officials:
So far, there are no countries willing to send forces to Gaza due to concerns for the safety of their soldiers.
❗️Israel's Channel 12 reports that the government has decided to work on forming an 'independent' investigation committee to probe the events of 7 October – granting it full powers.
The government claims the committee will have full authority, but the Israeli opposition rejects it, insisting on an official state commission of inquiry similar to the one formed after the 1973 October War. Such a commission would have the power to recommend actions against senior politicians and military commanders, whereas the scope and powers of the committee approved today remain unclear.

Trump considers skipping disarmament phase of Gaza plan amid deadlock: Report
Washington has been unable to convince countries involved in the ‘stabilization force’ plan to confront Hamas and other factions militarily
❗️Iran says all uranium enrichment halted after US–Israeli strikes
In an interview with the Associated Press (AP), Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran is no longer enriching uranium at any site, explaining that Israeli and US strikes in June crippled the country’s enrichment facilities. Araghchi insisted that Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear technology and enrichment remains “undeniable.”
“There is no undeclared nuclear enrichment in Iran. All of our facilities are under the safeguards and monitoring of the International Atomic Energy Agency ... There is no enrichment right now because our facilities — our enrichment facilities — have been attacked.”
❗️Israeli FM Gideon Saar: Israel will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state
“Israel is dealing with an unusual phenomenon: terror states (terror organizations that control territory). Three of them are still fighting Israel with the goal of destroying it — Hamas from Gaza, Hezbollah from Lebanon, and the Houthis from Yemen.
Israel will not agree to the establishment of a Palestinian terror state in the heart of the Land of Israel, at point-blank range from all its population centers and with topographical control over them.”
⭕️ Trump considers dropping Gaza disarmament phase amid deadlock: TOI
According to The Times of Israel, the Trump administration is now considering dropping the stage of its Gaza plan that deploys an international “stabilization force” to disarm Hamas, in order to move faster toward reconstruction.
This shift comes as talks stall over demilitarization and future governance, with Israeli security officials warning that these “interim solutions” are unacceptable and claiming Hamas has been regaining strength since the end of the war.
The US is still pushing a UN Security Council resolution that fully embeds Trump’s 20-point Gaza plan, (expected to be put to a vote on Monday) including authorization for a temporary International Stabilization Force with a mandate through 2027, which some states have linked to a “pathway” to Palestinian statehood, The Times of Israel reports.
Israel is preparing for the possible arrival of thousands of foreign troops in Gaza, but many countries say they are only willing to act as peacekeepers, not to forcibly disarm Palestinian factions.
At the same time, Russia has circulated a rival draft resolution that omits Trump’s name, does not immediately authorize a foreign force, and instead asks the UN Secretary-General to study options for stabilization, setting up a direct clash at the Security Council.
❗️Lebanese journalist Khalil Nasrallah:
"Amid the lack of consensus over the US draft resolution on Gaza, Israeli officials are leaking through Israel’s public broadcaster a signal that the 'mandate granted to the International Stabilization Force in Gaza must fall under Chapter VII.'
Washington is attempting to secure this Israeli demand, but so far there is Chinese-Russian opposition, as well as Arab resistance tied to the 'role of the Palestinian Authority.'
There are significant complications surrounding the second phase of the plan, and a clear possibility that the agreement could collapse entirely.
Palestinians would treat any Chapter VII force entering Gaza as an occupying army, if it manages to enter at all."
Note: Chapter VII refers to Chapter VII of the UN Charter, which is the section that gives the UN Security Council the authority to take military and enforcement action, not just peacekeeping.
