I have components which work like this on desktop/mobile

In my experience it's really hard and border line impossible to make it responsive on mobile. Pretty much everyone makes it a vertical scroll.
So if you're fine with this (which is totally ok), then it's probably the best/easiest solution that you can go for
a popup with additional info is more annoying I think, cause it's harder to compare

all webshops for this kind of stuff seem to do something like this though

It's a battery comparison tool, so yep you are definitely right 😄

thanks, the grid idea comes from that it takes up a lot of space now for browsing through the site, do you think it's not good?

Playing around with the font a bit helps, however I still think it is quiet ugly

I was trying to redesign it with some icons and stripping away unnecessary stuff

and by that i don't mean that i never use react next js etc what i mean is that when i can do something as good as packages/library why should i use it. or may be i need just 1 part of some packages/libraries why should i use it when i just need part of it.

Tailwind is awesome but not everyone's cup of tea. So it's okay for you not to like it.

unless you have to work with companies that you must use that. it's rule it's not matter you like it or not.

hey guys, d u use tailwind in your projects? is it okay if i don't like it?

It was actually one of my first projects to make a table like this responsive on mobile, the horrors 🥲
(I couldn't do it btw)
true the collapse thing is a huge benefit of the card design

Hmmm if you're trying to show them in a list then the collapse method wouldn't really work because of layout shift.
I think the correct ratio is fine, you can have another page or simply a pop up to show more info.
You can also have a comparison page that you can utilize to compare multiple batteries in a traditional manner as you mentioned
I think I'll try to do a collapse, I just like that more stuff fits onto the page
But the more I think about it an oldschool table might be the best solution
Yup because based on the data it seems that the comparison is much more important than showcasing the product itself (correct me if I'm wrong). You can also move critical info to the top of the card and have a expand/collapse button if the height is bothering you

I'm already planning on tooltips since the data might not be understandable
Appreciate the feedback that the classic version looks best, I'll try to just clean that one up a little instead of the grid pattern
I would add some tooltips to the icons if you haven't done that already.
But honestly, the first one is fine and much easier to use for vertical comparisons across different batteries
maybe you can add icons to this, and separate sections with a divider

However I'm not happy, do you have any suggestions what to do?

Hey, I have this ugly ass long list of properties in my hobby app (product description of a battery)

the best part that i learn from thedevs groups is that always use vanilla version of something instead of using packages/libraries.

That website has a background image right? I was looking at some designs on dribbble and it seems that’s the new standard - having a background image and the main content takes a section just like in virtuals.io
