vercel has WAF

AWS has solaris

cloudflare also has WAF

GCP has cloud armor.



All of above service providers on every major vulnerability will add rules to those services to mitigate exploits.

This gives your team + deployment pipelines to deploy your fix.

Unless there is something I don't understand, I don't see anything wrong with that.

Not everyone has updated to the patched versions.


The time between a fix being released and it being applied by devs is enough for attackers and hobbyists to exploit the vulnerability.
