Spot the hypocrisy.
This is exactly what Twitter/X is guilty of doing to its users.
Tens of thousands of people were purged from this platform for their political beliefs, and the ones who were lucky enough to be reinstated are throttled with shadow bans, burying their content and stifling their reach.
Twitter is the public square. And in the information war, this IS the battlefield.
My personal belief is that Elon is part of a psyop to get people actively focused on and pushing issues. Whether he's secretly on "our side" or not, the point is that we have to get loud and relentless in pushing for fair access to the public square for ALL PEOPLE.
At this point it's not just censorship, it's election interference.
But it's up to us, even though Elon obviously has the power to fix it. Every step of the way we've learned the responsibility is ours. There are no heroes coming to save us while we sit here and watch. There may be help along they way, but we can't expect anyone to fix these issues for us without a strong and vigorous outcry.
There are a lot of big accounts that remain comfy because they're here making money and immune from the throttling. Elon interacts with these accounts and they kiss his ass thanking him for "fixing" the problem that isn't fixed at all. We somehow need to get these people to care and speak out with us.
Imagine the ripple effect on our country and the world if the public square were truly free and information could flow organically.
