1. Importance of Orans:
Cultural and Religious Significance:
Orans are sacred groves associated with local traditions, often prohibiting activities like tree-cutting.
Ecological Role:
Enhance biodiversity by supporting local fauna.
Trap surface runoff, augmenting groundwater levels.
Serve as traditional water sources and are part of watershed management systems.
Community Governance: Managed by informal community institutions, ensuring sustainable use.
2. Supreme Court Judgment (December 2024)
Recognized orans as "forests" under the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, to ensure legal protection.
Directed formalization of governance and management of orans to conserve biodiversity.
3. Challenges with Formalization
Dilution of Protections: Exemptions introduced in the Forest (Conservation) Amendment Act, 2023, may weaken protections, e.g., diversion of forest land for non-forest purposes.
Loss of Community Autonomy:
Declaring orans as "community reserves" under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, could centralize control under the State, reducing local community involvement.
Declaring orans as "common forest land" under the Forest Rights Act, 2006, may not empower communities effectively due to restrictive eligibility criteria for rights claims.
Conflict with Local Practices: Formal protection may disrupt traditional community-led conservation practices.
4. Recommendations for Better Governance
Comprehensive Policy:
Suggested by the Environment Ministry to address governance through both formal and informal mechanisms.
Should avoid over-centralization and instead promote successful models of informal governance.
Participatory Approach:
Policies should be developed in consultation with local communities to ensure their interests are safeguarded.
Focus on empowering communities rather than imposing rigid legal frameworks.
5. Broader Implications
Highlights the tension between formal legal frameworks and traditional community-led governance.
Emphasizes balancing ecological conservation with socio-cultural preservation.

Читать полностью…As we stand on the brink of 2025, let us carry with us the wisdom that "The past is a place of reference, not a place of residence." The year gone by has been a teacher, offering lessons wrapped in challenges, frustrations and anxiety. Whatever we have faced, be it trials or tribulations, it has prepared us for the opportunities that lie ahead.
"When one door closes, another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us." – Alexander Graham Bell
2025 is a blank canvas waiting for our bold strokes of action, resilience, and hope. This is the time to dream fearlessly, act decisively, and believe wholeheartedly in our ability to create a brighter tomorrow. Let us move forward with clarity, leaving behind regrets, and embracing the infinite possibilities of a new year.
I have kept silent all these days so as not to disturb you all, letting you focus on your paths and goals. But now, as I reflect on the journey so far, I realize that silence alone isn’t enough. It’s time to transform that quiet into meaningful action.
I will come back stronger, armed with good content, insightful material, and a heart full of determination to contribute. I will strive to help you in all possible ways—whether it’s by offering guidance, support, or simply being a source of encouragement when times are tough.
As we stand on the threshold of a brand-new year, I feel a sense of excitement and purpose. Together, we can move forward, learn from each other, and make strides toward our shared aspirations. The coming year is not just another page on the calendar—it’s a fresh opportunity to grow, evolve, and achieve greatness.
The best way to grow is by lifting one another, and I am ready to play my part in this journey with renewed energy and purpose. Let this new year be a testament to our collective strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to success. Together, we can make 2025 a year of inspiration, collaboration, and remarkable accomplishments.
For now, I wish you all the very best in your Group 2 Examination, and I hope and pray that everyone in this group should succeed—practically impossible, but nothing wrong in believing in the power of single minded focus, dedicated effort, unwavering faith, and perseverance. Success may seem uncertain, but with dedication, discipline, and the determination to rise above challenges, each one of you can achieve something extraordinary. Remember, even if the journey feels tough, every step forward is a victory in itself. May this exam be a stepping stone toward your dreams and aspirations.
The last 3 months have been hectic, full of frustrations, anxiety, and false hopes. The government has challenged us, showing they are very serious to conduct exams, the judiciary has failed us —so now it is up to us to show them what we are made of, with determination burning brighter than ever. Let this be our moment to rise, to prove our worth, and to demonstrate that no challenge is too great when we are driven by purpose and passion. The stage is set, and it’s time for us to shine brighter than ever before!
For now, I am closing this group to comments. Focus wholeheartedly on your preparation, give your best in the exam, and once it’s done, take a few days off to rest and recharge. When the time is right, come back stronger, more determined, and ready to embrace the next phase of your journey. Wishing each one of you success and clarity in the days ahead—let’s conquer this challenge together!
Once again All the very best guys!!! Give it your all.
and we are selecting other state candidates on basis of reservations
Читать полностью…Hmm...somebody sent me a msg saying that they didn't qualify when G.O.29 was brought in and i wanted to get more details, so asked for their contact. Now they deleted the message. Why you guys are so scared man, It is about fighting for a cause, for getting exam to be conducted as per correct rules and regulations not at the will and standards of TGPSC. I could have done it on my behalf but you know how TGPSC and it's lawyers esp Rahul Reddy is attacking aspirants saying they have already written and qualified, but now want to sabotage the exam by filing irrelevant cases. We have legal points to argue but need genuine candidates who faced injustice to make the cases stronger otherwise it is best to resign to our fate, sit and watch TGPSC do whatever it feels like.
Читать полностью…Is this real, i didn't find it on the TGPSC website and when did TGPSC started to give press and webnotes in telugu, another issue is how come it is signed under the name of chairman, as it is always done in the name of secretary. it is fishy to me.

Читать полностью…Hello Group Members, as i have come across this deficiency in our "THE TELANGANA PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT (ORGANISATION OF LOCAL CADRES AND REGULATION OF DIRECT RECRUITMENT) ORDER, 2018" that other states candidates are availing reservations which is beyond my absolute comprehension. The thing i found out is there is no specific statement or provision in our Presidential Order, 2018 as in other State G.O.'s. So the TGPSC is allowing it instead of rectifying the same they are shamelessly giving away our jobs to other state candidates. The same thing might have happened in Group_1 also. One job under reservation to other states candidates is a tight hard slap on our faces we should not let this happen, our people did not sacrifice for this so that due to our inability to frame guidelines some tom dick and harry can come and take our jobs for which our forefathers to us have fought.
After extensively studying the P.O. 2018, I have decided to pursue this through a PIL and we need to correct this anomaly before they do further damage. But I need people who missed prelims cut off by few marks especially from SC/ST/OBC categories. We will not engage any advocate or anyone just write a Letter and post it through registered post to the Chief Justice. Please help me with this and if this happens the entire notification might get cancelled until the Presidential Order is amended to not allow Other State candidates avail Community Reservation.
Already 2018 Group IV notification lo chala mandhi non locals postlu kottesaru and we don't even know what was happening. Time has come up to be aware, fight and seize our rights instead of beg and pray. Let's do it and i hope i will get ur support in this. 💪🏼💪🏼✊🏼✊🏼👊🏼👊🏼🤝🤝🙏🏼🙏🏼
Anybody who did not qualify mains due to G.O.29, pls DM me asap.
