Greek hierarch recounts miracles of St. Luke of Simferopol

St. Luke is perhaps especially beloved in Greece. Metropolitan Panteleimon of Veroia and Naousa recently recounted two more miracles that the beloved St. Luke worked in Greece, that the hierarch learned about from a priest and a pious layman.
“As we proceed toward this year’s celebration of God’s Incarnation, our Savior’s Birth, we humbly wish for everyone: God’s peace, strength and discernment — and help from the one who gave Him birth; our Panaghia. (whose Entrance into the Temple we celebrate on Nov. 21). We thank God and we turn to Him for everything — and through our struggles, He informs our hearts that heaven awaits us all.”

Brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is not irksome to me, and is safe for you. Look out for the dogs, look out for the evil-workers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh. For we are the true circumcision, who worship God in Spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh.

For what is a woman but an enemy of friendship, an inescapable punishment, a necessary evil, a natural temptation, a domestic danger, delectable mischief, a fault in nature, painted with beautiful colours? The whole of her body is nothing less than phlegm, blood, bile, humour and the fluid of digested food. If you consider what is stored up behind those lovely eyes, the angle of the nose, the mouth and cheeks, you will consider that the well-proportioned body is only a whitened sepulchre."

“It is truly meet to bless thee, O Theotokos, thou who art ever blessed and the most pure Mother of our God. Greater in honor than the cherubim, and beyond compare, more glorious than the seraphim: thou, without corruption, didst bear God the Logos. Thou art the Theotokos, thee do we magnify.”

Romans 12:19
A certain monk had a struggle against defiled lusts. It was night. He got up and went to the elder and confessed to him the thoughts that were drawing him to defilement. The elder calmed him and the brother, have benefited, returned to his cell. But the struggle rose up against him again, and again he went to the elder. He did this a few times. The elder did not grieve him, but said, "Don't give up, but it is better that you come to me whenever the demon disturbs you, and repel him by exposing your thoughts. By such a repulsion he will pass you by. For nothing so burns the demon of defilement as the revelation of his deeds [in confession before a spiritual father]. And nothing makes him so happy as the hiding of thoughts." Thus the brother came to the elder eleven times, repelling his thoughts, and the brother's temptation ceased.
(Ancient Patericon, 5.16)
“As a warrior among enemies receives a great number of wounds, so he who freely communicates with women causes many wounds for his soul. Therefore, even in the Old Testament it was said: Sit not at all with another man's wife, nor sit down with her in thine arms, and spend not thy money with her at the wine; lest thine heart incline unto her, and so through thy desire thou fall into destruction (Sir. 9:10).”

“Anti-Semitism does not signify opposition to Semitism. There is no such thing. It is an expression we Jews use effectively as a smear word used to brand as a bigot, like you guys, anyone who brings criticism against Jews. We use it against hate-mongers.”
-Harold Wallace Rosenthal
“We Jews have put issue upon issue to the American people. Then we promote both sides of the issue as confusion reigns. With their eyes fixed on the issues, they fail to see who is behind every scene. We Jews toy with the American public as a cat toys with a mouse.”

“Anti-Semitic?” It’s a trick. We always use it to stifle legitimate criticism of Zionist Israel.”
-Shulamit Aloni, former Israeli cabinet member
“The Zionists want to rule the earth. To achieve their ends they use black magic and satanism. They regard Satan worship as a means to gain the strength they need to carry out their plans.”

Receive me today, O Son of God, as a partaker of Thy Mystical Supper. For I will not betray Thy Mysteries to Thine enemies, neither will I give Thee a kiss, as did Judas. But as the Thief I will confess Thee: Remember me, O Lord, when Thou comest in Thy Kingdom.

“Our job is to keep doing our deadly dull job! It means that we should remember about constancy of faith and live it: it is ‘dull’ to work, ‘dull’ to repent, and ‘dull’ to pray—the tedium of life, so to speak. Yet, someone lived in the desert and wandered in sheepskins and goatskins in this ‘dullness’…”

A GEOMETRICAL PARABLE OF ABBA DOROTHEUS
Imagine a circle, the middle of it (the center) and from the center of the emanating radii - rays. These radii, the farther they go from the center, the more they diverge and move away from each other. Conversely, the closer they come to the center, the closer they get to each other.
Suppose now that this circle is the world; the very center of the circle is God, and the straight lines (radii) running from center to circle or from circle to center are the ways of human life.
And it is the same: to the extent that the saints enter the circle to its center, desiring to draw near to God, so, as they enter, they become closer to God and to one another ... So think also of distance. When they are removed from God, they are equally removed from one another, and as far as they are removed from one another, so far are they removed from God.
This is also the nature of love: as far as we are outside and do not love God, so far are we from our neighbor. But if we love God, then as much as we come closer to God with our love for Him, we are also united with our neighbors with love, and as much as we are united with our neighbors, we are also united with God.
That is, the more one exercises mercy and loves people, the closer one gets to God, and the more one feels personal Deity in one's heart, the more one loves people.

Oh, the great Archangel of God Raphael, you have accepted a gift from God to heal ailments, heal the incurable ulcers of my heart and many diseases of my body. Oh, the great Archangel of God Raphael, you are a guide, doctor and healer, guide me to salvation and heal all my mental and physical illnesses, and lead me to the Throne of God and beseech His compassion for my sinful soul, may the Lord forgive me and save me from all my enemies and from evil people, both now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

A highly-educated monk living in Rome, he was consecrated Archbishop of Canterbury at the age of 65. He created new Sees and established a school in Canterbury where Greek was taught.
Saint Theodore summoned a council of the entire English Church at Hertford in 672. Not only was this the first church council in England, it was the first assembly of any kind attended by representatives from all over the country. In 679, he convened another synod at Hatfield to maintain the purity of Orthodox doctrine and to condemn Monothelitism. St. Theodore fell asleep in 690, and his body remained incorrupt. Under his leadership, the English Church became united in a way that the various tribal kingdoms did not. The diocesean structures which he established serve as the basis for church administration in England. He was respected for his moral and canonical decisions.
