Belgium's gambling committee is investigating Battlefront 2 and Overwatch
Belgium just started investigating these games out of fear that their loot box systems could be addicting for under-aged kids who could blow loads of money on them. Before down vote I'm not sorry for EA. I'm sorry for all the hard workers who from what I can tell made a great game. It's just unfortunate that corporate greed ruined what might have been an amazing star wars game.

PSA: As a customer service agent for a very large and often very shitty company out, please don't take your anger out on the advisors
They get no say in this, they turn up to work in the morning and probably get a short briefing on how to handle the influx of complaints and negativity and then get left to it. By all means express your dissatisfaction but the guts you talk to are on minimum wage most likely and have zero to do with any of this, in fact a lot of them probably feel exactly the same as we do, if not even more unhappy since this has all fallen squarely on their lap. Be a good brother and treat them nicely if you call up

Possibly unpopular opinion about EA refund calls
I say this might be unpopular because, as a former call-taker I know how many people get pissed at customer service agents for things that aren’t their fault. For those of you who are having to call EA on the phone to get your refunds, PLEASE remember to be civil on the phone with the customer service agents on the other end. Remember that it is not that person’s fault that BF2 got botched, not was it their idea to remove the refund button on the webpage. All they want is to help you and move along with their day. Please by polite and courteous to them, inform them calmly why you are refunding the game and proceed with the transaction like a rational human being. They are not personally responsible for making a bad game, so don’t treat them like garbage. Also please keep a cool head even if they seem short tempered with you, in all likelihood they are having a terrible day with tons of assholes yelling at them about loot boxes. We are the Master Race. Be glorious to each other. That said, good luck to all of you with your refunds and have a great, EA free day!

If you are having trouble contacting EA through live chat, use Internet Explorer!
Around a year ago I wanted to refund one of the games I bought and it also required me to go through live chat. After waiting for 20 minutes on chrome, I opened up Internet Explorer and after a minute of waiting I was talking with someone.tl;dr use a shitty browser to talk with a shitty company
