My girlfriend's pro net neutrality comment was changed to anti-net neutrality comment...
Like many of us, my girlfriend submitted a comment to the FCC in favor of net neutrality. Today, she looked looked up her name using this site and discovered that her comment was fucking changed to an anti-net neutrality comment. I looked up my own name and found a couple of fake comments that were verbatim what her comment was changed to. It was changed to this nausiating bullshit:The unprecedented regulatory power the Obama Administration imposed on the internet is smothering innovation, damaging the American economy and obstructing job creation. I urge the Federal Communications Commission to end the bureaucratic regulatory overreach of the internet known as Title II and restore the bipartisan light-touch regulatory consensus that enabled the internet to flourish for more than 20 years. The plan currently under consideration at the FCC to repeal Obama's Title II power grab is a positive step forward and will help to promote a truly free and open internet for everyone.I don't know if the FCC was hacked, or if someone at the FCC straight up changed her comment, but this is shady as fuck and it goes beyond the bot comment spamming that was reported over the last couple of months. I don't know how widespread this is, but just in case, please look up any comments you made to the FCC and make sure they weren't changed.

Fun Fact: You can overclock a flash drive
TLDR: Had to reflash firmware, went on adventure through the interwebs, overclocked a flashdrive.I apologize for the horrible formatting here, so just bear with it.The Story: For the past year or so, I've had a flash drive that hasn't functioned. It always had some issues here and there with connecting, but overall, it worked fine. Suddenly, something occurred where the the drive showed up as having no space available, but still being recognized by the computer. From this, I knew there had to be something wrong with the firmware.I looked through all the different recovery programs that various companies put out, and nothing seemed to work as they all said that the program was incompatible with my version of the flash drive. Time to brute force it.I tore apart the flash drive, found the controller identification numbers (is903) and began searching for firmwares. I came across a russian website that does development of USB drivers, and found that they had archived a version of the manufacturers tool to flash firmware and check the drives. After translating the entire manual from chinese to english, doing a little file editing to get a newer version of the firmware from a different update tool, and I flashed it over. Turns out that in the settings, you can set an overclock level on the controller. 0 being default, and 4 being max, whatever that may be. After flashing the new firmware, the drive now has a 240 mb/s read speed, whereas it was at a healthy 180 before.Would totally recommend overclocking a flash drive.I apologize for the terrible grammar, but I've been working at this for a couple of hours, and I'm a little tired.EDIT: New Day!Since most people here are either interested in how I did it (or calling bullshit) here are the links that I used: -http://www.usbdev.ru/ *Which then went to: http://ift.tt/2BJEcnhFrom there I tried all of the utilities, only finding that the innostor 903 mp tool would function and identify the drive. There was a lot of other programs from different manufacturers, but it seems like if the original device information like serial number and what not do not work, then it will refuse to do anything to the drive. Although some of you may try this if you wish. Now, because the available version is A) only in chinese (the manual), and B) for an older firmware (1.23 instead of 1.25) I had to copy the firmware from the package here: -http://ift.tt/2ATOddLI basically copied what I thought would be the correct files from after extracting the self extracting archive with 7zip and copied it over to the IS903 directory for the innostor 903 mp tool.Anyways, since no one probably wants to download the software, or wants to open the pdf (cause big scary viruses), here are some screenshots of both: -http://ift.tt/2BHrsgQHere should be a link to a viewable pdf that I uploaded to my google drive: -http://ift.tt/2ATOflTI basically just ran the above through google drive and compared pages and diagrams to understand the manual. Here is a couple screenshots of the software: -http://ift.tt/2BHgxUhThe CTLOC is the overclock setting. I have it turned down because it was getting too hot from running it all the way at 4. I also have the power draw set to increase. Here is a screenshot of the transfer, both read and write, note that the speed is reduced because I turned the overclock down: -http://ift.tt/2AVYLt9And at last here is the flash drive in all its glory. It is a pny drive from: http://ift.tt/2BJEjzdIt has a lot of poor reviews due to the crappy firmware that comes stock on it. I tried taking pictures of the chip on the inside of the flash drive, but the silk screening doesn't come out that well on camera.
