6 months ago i was announced as the grand prize winner of the 2017 PC Gaming Show giveaway.
I am looking for advice on what to do.the PC is an iBuyPower and the sweeps was done by PC Gamer mag(Future plc). I was contacted on June 27th 2017. I replied and filled all necessary documents buy the 30th. I was so lucky finally I would have a gaming PC of my own and I wouldn't be limited by my laptop hardware. Curious to find accessories for my PC I emailed my contact a week after. I got no reply. I called the phone number they left for me and got the voicemail, so I left a message. No reply. I waited weeks/ months for a reply. I contacted customer service they said they have no idea what I was talking about and that I needed to call the main office. I even asked iBuyPower if the PC was built and sent to PC mag they were like yea it's been built and sent already (btw congratulations on winning). This brings me to October 2nd I contacted another employee at PC mag. And they got back to me so quickly I was impressed. My spirit was lifted and I was like hell yea this thing might actually be happening. I was reassured I won and that this was taking longer than usual (giveaways tend to take quite a long time). And that the original contact and this new contact would be in touch when the item is ready/shipped. So I waited and I told myself 3 months before reaching out again. I didn't want to bother anyone there. Well last week I sent an email and received no answer. I am defeated I don't really know what to do and am stressed out by the lack of communication. Mrs. Jacobson, a prim and proper, straightlaced lady, is a teacher of Grade Four students. One of the lessons is about the types of different jobs adults have...sort of a "what do you want to be when you grow up" type of lesson.Part of it was asking the students what their parents do for a living."Sally, what does you father do?"Sally proudly answers, "My Daddy is a Real Estate agent, and he helps people sell the house they own now, and buy a better house.""Very good, Sally," replies Mrs Jacobson. Johnny admits. "He works for EA, but there's no way I'm telling them THAT."
