For the first time, Israel carried out airstrikes on the Kurdish-led autonomous region of northeastern Syria, targeting the city of Qamishli. According to local sources, the strikes hit military facilities previously operated by the Syrian Arab Army, now under the de facto control of the Kurdish-led and US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The attack resulted in several casualties, including fatalities.
Qamishli, once the capital of the autonomous region in northeast Syria, has experienced significant shifts in power. Before the offensive led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), much of the city—including an international airport—was still under the control of the Syrian government. Amidst the collapse of their government, Damascus transferred complete control of Qamishli to the SDF.

🟡 NEW: Since this morning, Israel has conducted over 17 airstrikes on Syria, targeting various locations, including Daraa, Damascus, Latakia, and Tartus. The majority of the targets hit by Israel are military air defense bases, weapon depots, and research centers. The goal is to weaken Syria by depriving it of its defensive and offensive capabilities on the ground.
In the video, an Israeli attack is shown on the headquarters of the 121st Brigade in Kanaker, southwest of Damascus.
Since the Assad-led government collapsed, Israel has exploited the governmental "chaos" to pursue its colonial ambitions in Syria. Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced Israel's intention to establish a "safe zone" on the Syrian side, which in practice translates to a continuous ground advance by the Israeli army into Syrian territory.

Indian police launched tear gas at farmers who tried to march to New Delhi in protest of the Modi government’s attacks on their livelihood. After clashes ended, the police erected barricades and barbed wire along the border crossing between northern Punjab and Haryana to prevent any advance of the farmers. An internet blackout was also implemented.
Farmers are demanding guaranteed minimum crop prices to ensure a basic threshold of livelihood. Currently, the government only has such a policy for wheat and rice.
The movement is a resurgence of the 2020/2021 farmer’s protests that gripped the country and forced Modi to repeal bills that would allow corporations to drive farmers out of business. Specifically, the laws were meant to liberalize the market and allow corporations to dictate the price of goods.

Black activist, journalist, and former Black Panther Party member Mumia Abu-Jamal received a death sentence in the US 42 years ago. After spending three decades on death row, a global solidarity movement successfully persuaded US authorities to commute his sentence to life imprisonment in 2011.
Mumia honed his skills as a revolutionary journalist during his time as a member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Black Panther Party. Renowned for viewing journalism as a potent political tool for fostering a mass movement, he wrote extensively against capitalism, war, racism, and poverty.
His trial was marred by numerous controversies, including allegations of witnesses being blackmailed and the presentation of questionable evidence. International human rights organizations vehemently opposed the sentence, citing concerns about police abuse and corruption.

Israel has launched an unprecedented wave of attacks in Syria, exploiting the collapse of Assad’s government in the country. The Israeli military has reportedly advanced several kilometers into Syrian territory, occupying the strategic Mount Hermon, while about 100 Syrian sites have been targeted by airstrikes.
Israel’s latest wave of attacks on Syria follows Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu’s order to occupy a “buffer zone” on the border with Syria to “not allow any hostile force to establish itself” and neutralize “anything that could pose a future threat to Israel.”
Israeli media reports that Israel is preparing to launch continuous attacks on Syria in the coming days.

🟡 URGENT: Israel is planning to expand its illegal invasion of Syria beyond the Golan Heights.
The Israeli army has reportedly issued orders to Syrian residents in Ofaniya, Quneitra, al-Hamidiyah, Samdaniya al-Gharbiyya, and al-Qahtaniyah to remain indoors. Videos circulating online show Israeli forces entering southern Syria. According to Israel’s Channel 12, Israeli forces have advanced 14 kilometers into Syrian territory.
This invasion has yet to be condemned by the forces that deposed the Assad-led government.

🟡 NEW: The sky is burning in Damascus due to several explosions that have hit the city's security perimeter.
Israel has also announced it bombed the Scientific Research Center in Damascus, alleging that it manages “chemical weapons research and missile programs.”
🟡 NOW: The Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) has launched a fierce assault on Manbij, a region held by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
According to the SDF’s Manbij Military Council, intense clashes have erupted across multiple fronts, with fighting pushing as far as the city’s entrances and alleged Turkish air support for the SNA.
Türkiye has pledged to eradicate the SDF, whom it brands “terrorists,” from its entire border with Syria. Manbij is a strategic city connecting Aleppo to the Euphrates. It was under ISIS control until it was captured by the SDF in 2017.
🟡 NOW: Israel confirmed that it struck a weapons depot near the airport in the Mezzeh area of Damascus. So far, three explosions have been reported in Mezzeh, along with one in Qasioun.
This comes after an increase in Israel's military presence in the occupied Golan Heights and, for the first time in 50 years, the crossing of Israeli tanks over the Syrian border fence.

The US and UK government have stated they will consider removing Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s (HTS) terrorist designation in the wake of the collapse of the Assad government.
Simultaneously, CNN reported that a senior American official believes significant portions of HTS maintain strong links to ISIS.
In all likelihood, the deciding factor for US/UK support and engagement will be subservience to Western interests, not “human rights and democracy.”

🟡 NOW: Intense ongoing fighting between the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Manbij region.
Sources close to the SNA claim their fighters, supported by Turkish air and artillery strikes, have taken control of Manbij and are now advancing towards Raqqa. Meanwhile, SDF sources on the ground report inflicting heavy losses on the SNA, with at least 330 fighters killed and several captured in a still ongoing battle.
Overnight, Turkish forces conducted additional operations in areas controlled by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES). An attack on the village of Al-Mistriha, near Ain Issa in northern Syria, reportedly resulted in the deaths of 12 civilians.
