Return is an act of resistance, say Lebanese residents of Yaroun. Across southern Lebanon, people are marching toward the occupied territories in a defiant challenge to Israeli control, which has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement. Despite the dangers, families are reclaiming their villages, determined to assert their presence in areas that have been heavily targeted.
The ceasefire agreement was intended to end hostilities and mandated Israel's withdrawal from southern Lebanon. However, Israeli forces remain in the area and have continued their relentless attacks. Since Sunday, at least 26 people have been killed and 221 injured by Israeli gunfire.

Tulsi Gabbard justified a mass surveillance program she once crusaded against during her confirmation hearing. On a podcast in May 2024, she criticized Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) as an infringement on the right to privacy. “Our resistance is victorious”—The latest handover of Israeli captives in Gaza once again showed the seemingly unshakable support for the resistance forces by the Palestinian people. Even after 15 months of a relentless war of annihilation, thousands poured into the streets today to witness the historic moment of the captive’s release.
The handover took place in the ruins of what was once the home of slain resistance leader Yahya Sinwar in Khan Younis in the central Gaza Strip. This marked the first handover led by Palestinian Islamic Jihad, backed by Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades.
