🟡 URGENT: Apocalyptic scenarios are unfolding in Jabalia in northern Gaza.
Israel is committing extermination raids across refugees camps, with journalists describing the situation as "like nothing before.”
Authorities warn they cannot give accurate casualty figures as the dead and wounded lie unreachable and rescue workers are paralyzed. They are held back by shoot-on-sight orders from Israeli forces.
In addition, there is a complete communications blackout in the region.
Israel's siege of the northern Gaza Strip has now lasted two weeks with nearly 500 dead, though the real figure is feared to be far higher.

The DPRK has officially amended its constitution, clearly defining the Republic of Korea (ROK) as a “hostile state” for the first time in history. Inter-Korean relations continue to drop to one of the lowest points in decades.
The change comes after years of worsening relations between the two Koreas. The ROK under President Yoon Suk Yeol has adopted a significantly more hawkish approach, with its latest provocation being the alleged sending of drones into DPRK airspace.
Earlier this year, DPRK leader Kim Jong Un called for the constitutional changes that were just formalized. This shift marks a historic departure in the DPRK’s policy, as it no longer seeks reconciliation or peaceful reunification with the ROK.
The ROK condemned the move, calling it “an anti-unification, anti-national act,” framing it as a one-sided escalation. While the ROK maintains it will continue pushing for peaceful reunification, the DPRK’s shift is a direct reaction to the series of provocations from the ROK.

🟡 BREAKING: Hamas has just confirmed the death of Yahya Sinwar. The leader of Palestine’s largest resistance faction was killed by Israeli forces while fighting on the front lines in Rafah, Gaza. The Israeli military released drone footage showing Sinwar fighting until his last breath, throwing a stick at the drone despite being severely injured. The Israelis had accidentally stumbled upon Sinwar and his comrades, despite claims that his assassination was the result of meticulous US and Israeli intelligence efforts. Sinwar had eluded the occupying forces for more than a year and died according to his wishes, on the battlefield alongside his comrades.

Electronic Intifada journalist, Asa Winstanley, had his home raided by British “counter-terrorism” police who seized his devices. Winstanley has not been able to communicate on social media since the raid took place yesterday at around 6 AM local time.
They confirmed that Winstanley was handed a letter stating that police were “investigating possible offenses” under sections 1 and 2 of the Terrorism Act (2006), related to “encouragement of terrorism.”
The UK is following the footsteps of countries like Germany where almost any expression of pro-Palestine sentiment is criminalized. In August, prominent activist Sarah Wilkinson faced a similar fate, with her home being raided and devices seized.
Electronic Intifada stated: The police raid on Winstanley’s home and the seizure of his devices appears to be the latest use by British authorities of repressive “counter terrorism” legislation to crack down on journalists and activists involved in reporting on or protesting Israel’s crimes.

red. media reporters in Gaza obtained exclusive footage from Jabalia’s Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. A total media blackout remains in effect, with only a handful of journalists left in the Jabalia refugee camp. The area has been enduring what local journalists describe as the most devastating Israeli siege since October 7, 2023.
Israeli forces are pushing deeper into the center of Jabalia as tanks encircle three hospitals, trapping patients and civilians. Gaza’s health authorities report 500 deaths since Israel's two-weeks-long siege of Jabalia began, though the actual death toll is feared to be much higher, with rescue efforts crippled by the Israeli military's shoot-on-sight orders.
Israel has blocked nearly all food aid from entering northern Gaza, a policy the UN has condemned as “surrender or starve.”
After several failed attempts to defeat resistance fighters in northern Gaza, Israel appears to be launching a total annihilation offensive, making life in the north impossible.
On this day in 2011, Muammar Gaddafi was killed by NATO-backed militias. What followed was the near total destruction of the country, and included the return of chattel slavery of Black Africans.

The socialist President of Mozambique, Samora Machel, was killed on this day in 1986. He died in a plane crash that the Soviet Union suspected was likely orchestrated by the government of apartheid South Africa.
Machel was a guerrilla leader of the Marxist-Leninist Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) and the county’s first post-independence president. He nationalized natural resources and vocally supported the South African struggle against apartheid, angering the apartheid regime.
On this day in 1986, his plane crashed in the Lebombo Mountains near the South African border, killing him and 33 others. While the official cause was attributed to the pilot’s error, many believe that South Africa’s apartheid regime provoked the crash.
An investigation carried out by Soviet authorities found that an unusual 37-degree turn led the plane into the hills of Mbuzini. Their findings suggest that the plane was deliberately diverted by a false navigational beacon signal from South Africa.

Supporters of Evo Morales in Bolivia are on their fifth day of a “national strike” calling for the resignation of President Luis Arce. Indigenous groups are blocking key highways, particularly in the Cochabamba region.
The government has been unable to remove protesters, but the mobilizations have not spread to key cities such as La Paz and Santa Cruz so far. The division within the Movement Towards Socialism party also exists in unions and Indigenous communities. Meaning, it has become difficult to mobilize at the national level.
The key issue remains the candidacy of Evo Morales for next year’s presidential elections. The government is attempting to ban him from running, while his supporters are trying to force the issue before 2025.

“The dockers state it clearly, we will not stain our hands with the blood of the people.” — In a militant action, dockworkers at the Piraeus port in Athens, Greece, blocked an arms shipment to Israel.
Late last night, workers received word that a ship headed toward Israel was scheduled to dock in Athens in order to receive a container with bullets. The workers swiftly coalesced at the dock and prevented the boat from obtaining the weapons.
The participating unions reiterated that their struggles on the job are connected to imperialism, and called for all workers to stand steadfast in their solidarity with the Palestinian people.
