وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنْفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ
And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).
Quran 2: 155

وعن أبي هريرة عبد الرحمن بن صخر رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
إن الله لا ينظر إلى أجسامكم ، ولا إلى صوركم، ولكن ينظر إلى قلوبكم وأعمالكم"
((رواه مسلم))
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"Allah does not look at your figures, nor at your attire but He looks at your hearts and accomplishments".

إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise).
ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ آمِنِينَ
"(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.'
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِمْ مِنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ
"And We shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have), (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.
لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُمْ مِنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
"No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it."
[Surat Al-Hijr 45-48]

فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا
"I said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving;
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا
'He will send rain to you in abundance;
وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ أَنْهَارًا
'And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers."

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ وَإِذَا قَامُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَامُوا كُسَالَىٰ يُرَاءُونَ النَّاسَ وَلَا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but it is He Who deceives them. And when they stand up for As-Salat (the prayer), they stand with laziness and to be seen of men, and they do not remember Allah but little.
[Surat An-Nisa' 142]

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا تَنَاجَيْتُمْ فَلَا تَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
O you who believe! When you hold secret counsel, do it not for sin and wrong-doing, and disobedience towards the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) but do it for Al-Birr (righteousness) and Taqwa (virtues and piety); and fear Allah unto Whom you shall be gathered.

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
Then when the (Jumu'ah) Salat (prayer) is finished, you may disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allah (by working, etc.), and remember Allah much, that you may be successful.

وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
إياكم والحسد، فإن الحسد يأكل الحسنات كما تأكل النار الحطب، أو قال: العشب"
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"Beware of envy because envy consumes (destroys) the virtues just as the fire consumes the firewood," or he said "grass."

وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :
المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده، والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه"

Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"A (true) Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe; and a Muhajir (Emigrant) is he who leaves the deeds which Allah has prohibited."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Hadith
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
كفى بالمرء كذبًا أن يحدث بكل ما سمع"
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"It is enough for a man to prove himself a liar when he goes on narrating whatever he hears."

عن ابن عمر قال : قال الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( أفضل الصلوات عند الله صلاة الصبح يوم الجمعة في جماعة ) . رواه البيهقي في "شعب الإيمان" . وصححه الألباني في صحيح الجامع (1119) .
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
*“The best prayer before Allaah is Fajr prayer on Friday in congregation.”*
Narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Eemaan; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 1119

Hadith
وعن أوس بن أوس، رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن من أفضل أيامكم يوم الجمعة، فأكثروا على من الصلاة فيه، فإن صلاتكم معروضة علي" فقالوا: يا رسول الله، كيف تعرض صلاتنا عليك وقد أرمت؟ قال: يقول: بلىت، قال: "إن الله عز وجل حرم على الأرض أجساد الأنبياء" رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح."
Aus bin Aus (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"Among the best of your days is *Friday;* so *supplicate Allah more often for me in it , for your supplications will be displayed to me.*"
He was asked:
"O Messenger of Allah! How will our blessings be displayed to you when your decayed body will have mixed with the earth?"
He (ﷺ) replied,
"Allah has prohibited the earth from consuming the bodies of the Prophets."

Hadith
وعن أبي يحيى صهيب بن سنان رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
عجبا لأمر المؤمن إن أمره كله له خير، وليس ذلك لأحد إلا للمؤمن : إن أصابته سراء شكر فكان خيراً له، وإن أصابته ضراء صبر فكان خيراً له"
((رواه مسلم))
Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him".

Assalam Alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,
Thursday, 23rd Rajab 1438 AH
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ
O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.
[Surat Al-Hujurat 13]
Hadith
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : قال الله تعالى أعددت لعبادي الصالحين ما لا عين رأت ولا أذن سمعت ولا خطر على قلب بشر، واقرؤوا إن شئتم: {فلا تعلم نفس ما أخفي لهم من قرة أعين جزاء بما كانوا يعملون} ((السجدة:17)) ((متفق عليه))."
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"Allah, the Exalted, has said: 'I have prepared for my righteous slaves what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and the mind of no man has conceived.' If you wish, recite:
'No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do."' (32:17)

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ لَزِمَ الاِسْتِغْفَارَ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقٍ مَخْرَجًا وَمِنْ كُلِّ هَمٍّ فَرَجًا وَرَزَقَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ يَحْتَسِبُ " .
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If anyone continually asks pardon, Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress, and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide for him from where he did not reckon.

حَدَّثَنَا خَلاَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا زُرَارَةُ بْنُ أَوْفَى، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَجَاوَزَ لأُمَّتِي عَمَّا وَسْوَسَتْ أَوْ حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا، مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ بِهِ أَوْ تَكَلَّمْ ".
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah forgives my followers those (evil deeds) their souls may whisper or suggest to them as long as they do not act (on it) or speak."

Hadith
وعن جُندب بن عبد الله بن سفيان رضي الله عنه قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : من سمَّع سمَّع الله به، ومن يرائي الله يرائي به" ((متفق عليه)). ((رواه مسلم أيضًا من رواية ابن عباس رضي الله عنه)). "سمَّع" بتشديد الميم، ومعناه: أظهر عمله للناس رياء " سمَّع الله به" أي فضحه يوم القيامة، ومعنى: " من راءى" أي: من أظهر للناس العمل الصالح ليعظم عندهم "راءى الله به" أي: أظهر سريرته على رءوس الخلائق."
Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"He who so acts to show off, Allah will disgrace him on the Day of Resurrection, and he who does good deeds so that people (may hold him in high esteem), Allah will expose his hidden evil intentions before the people on the Day of Resurrection."

وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
إذا كنتم ثلاثة، فلا يتناجى اثنان دون الآخر حتى تختلطوا بالناس، من أجل أن ذلك يحزنه"
((متفق عليه))
Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
"When three of you are together, two of you must not converse privately ignoring the third till the number increases, lest the third should be grieved."

وعن واثلة بن الأسقع رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : لا تظهر الشماتة لأخيك، فيرحمه الله ويبتليك". ((رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن)) وفي الباب حديث أبي هريرة السابق في باب التجسس: " كل المسلم على المسلم حرام" الحديث."
Wathilah bin Al-Asqa' (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Do not express pleasure at the misfortune of a (Muslim) brother lest Allah should bestow mercy upon him and make you suffer from a misfortune."

Supplication When A Rooster Crows and a donkey brays
Abu Huraira reported Allah s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying.
When you listen to the crowing of the cock, ask Allah for His favour as it sees Angels and when you listen to the braying of the donkey, seek refuge in Allah from the Satan for it sees Satan.

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
أَمْ يَحْسُدُونَ النَّاسَ عَلَىٰ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ ۖ فَقَدْ آتَيْنَا آلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَآتَيْنَاهُم مُّلْكًا عَظِيمًا
Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? But we had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom.

And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear on themselves the crime of slander and plain sin.

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْئُولًا
And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not, etc.) that of which you have no knowledge (e.g. one's saying: "I have seen," while in fact he has not seen, or "I have heard," while he has not heard). Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those you will be questioned (by Allah).

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِي لِلصَّلاةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
الجمعة/9
O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salaah (prayer) on Friday (Jumu‘ah prayer), come to the remembrance of Allaah [Jumu‘ah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salaah (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing). That is better for you if you did but know!”
[al-Jumu’ah 62:9]

Friday, 25th Jumadal Akhira 1438 AH
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [ Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him] peace.
[Surat Al-Ahzab 56]
