The problem is this picture doesn't reflect reality. Yes all those people are holding up the system by participating, but they're also being forced and coerced to be there. To make this true to life you'd have to have a bunch of pigs dressed in riot gear ready to club anyone stepping off the board. Then have a bunch of happy merchants rubbing their hands together standing off to the side.

There’s three main criticisms of Patriot Front that come up again and again.

This may be true or not. However, the Russians only want Durov so they can do the same thing. The Russians forced Durov to sell VK (Russian Facebook which Durov also created) to them.
