There’s three main criticisms of Patriot Front that come up again and again.

This may be true or not. However, the Russians only want Durov so they can do the same thing. The Russians forced Durov to sell VK (Russian Facebook which Durov also created) to them. Durov left Russia specifically because he did not want to turn Telegrams encryption keys over to the Russian government.
