I too am not a fan of the censorship in Australia, but on Musk’s claim of “free speech for Aussies on X” I call bullshit.
I just post my thoughts, I don’t even reply to comments or engage in discussion. There’s no legitimacy behind the ‘abusive behaviour’ excuse used to censor me six years ago.
Anyone down here would agree that I was the original case for political censorship in Australia.
I was the first Australian to suddenly lose access to Facebook, Twitter, my personal bank account –and also the first person convicted for a ‘hate-speech’ legal precedent down in Melbourne (intent to incite ridicule).
If Elon really wanted to demonstrate that he was offering free speech to Australians, he wouldn’t be rejecting my appeals.

Think about this. The main places your average person will experience threats of violence are schools and prisons. They are also the two areas where the system forces you to be around diversity and group up for protection. As we become more diverse as a country, our country becomes more like a prison.
