الٓمٓ- تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ- أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُۚ بَلْ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ- ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

Alif, Laam, Meem.[This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds. Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Muḥammad], that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided.

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِى لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

لَمۡ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ

Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief][1] until there came to them clear evidence –

كٓهيعٓصٓ- ذِكْرُ رَحْمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُۥ زَكَرِيَّآ- إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّا- قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَهَنَ ٱلْعَظْمُ مِنِّى وَٱشْتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأْسُ شَيْبًا وَلَمْ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّا
Kāf, Hā, Yā, ʿAyn, Ṣād. [This is] a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah. When he called to his Lord a private call [i.e., supplication].He said, "My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled[1] with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy [i.e., disappointed].

Have you not considered, [O Muḥammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?[1]
Did He not make their plan into misguidance?[1]

May the hands of Abū Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.[1]
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.

إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَة
لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ
خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌ
إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ رَجًّا
وَبُسَّتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ بَسًّا
When the Occurrence occurs,
There is, at its occurrence, no denial. It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].When the earth is shaken with convulsion And the mountains are broken down, crumbling.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمُزَّمِّلُ

قُمِ ٱلَّيْلَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

نِّصْفَهُۥٓ أَوِ ٱنقُصْ مِنْهُ قَلِيلًا

O you who wraps himself [in clothing],[1]

Arise [to pray] the night, except for a little -

Half of it - or subtract from it a little
