بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Al-Kahf

1. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ عِوَجَاۜ

2. قَيِّمًا لِّيُنذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا مِّن لَّدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا

3. مَّٰكِثِينَ فِيهِ أَبَدًا

[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, who has sent down upon His Servant [Muḥammad (ﷺ)] the Book and has not made therein any deviance.[1]

[He has made it] straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward [i.e., Paradise]

In which they will remain forever

Al-Mulk

تَبَٰرَكَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفُورُ

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًاۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ مِن تَفَٰوُتٍۖ فَٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٍ

Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -

[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -

[And] who created seven heavens in layers.[1] You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?

نِّصْفَهُۥٓ أَوِ ٱنقُصْ مِنْهُ قَلِيلًا

O you who wraps himself [in clothing],[1]

Arise [to pray] the night, except for a little -

Half of it - or subtract from it a little

ذِكْرُ رَحْمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُۥ زَكَرِيَّآ

إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّا

Kāf, Hā, Yā, ʿAyn, Ṣād.[1]

[This is] a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah

When he called to his Lord a private call [i.e., supplication].

قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَمَكْرٌۭ مَّكَرْتُمُوهُ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوا۟ مِنْهَآ أَهْلَهَا ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿١٢٣﴾

- سُورَةُ الأَعۡرَافِ " الجزء التاسع (قال الملأ)"

- تفسير الآية "قال فرعون للسحرة: آمنتم بالله قبل أن آذن لكم بالإيمان به؟ إن إيمانكم بالله وتصديقكم لموسى وإقراركم بنبوته لحيلة احتلتموها أنتم وموسى؛ لتخرجوا أهل مدينتكم منها، وتكونوا المستأثرين بخيراتها، فسوف تعلمون -أيها السحرة- ما يحلُّ بكم من العذاب والنكال."

Pharaoh said, “You believed in him before he gave you permission. Indeed, this is a plan. You plotted it in the city to expel its people from it.” Then you will know.(123)

- Surah Al-A'raf, Part Nine (the eminent scholars said)

- Interpretation of the verse: “Pharaoh said to the magicians: Did you believe in God before I gave you permission to believe in Him? Your belief in God, your belief in Moses, and your acknowledgment of his prophecy was a ruse that you and Moses used, in order to expel the people of your city from it, and to be the ones to take advantage of its bounties. Then you will know - oh magicians - what will befall you of torment and punishment. "
