Loved the quote - It’s not always about ability, sometimes it’s more about desire. Many can, but not all of them want.

These are the results of my students who attended the lessons of other teachers too, having completed my course.
But unlike others, Guzal, Amir and Farzona remembered their teacher who had laid the foundation and believed in them.
I wish you all the best, guys!

Shaxzod, if I am not mistaken, is the product of our 10-month-long program. Having completed Begov’s part in 4 months, he moved to me and in 6 months he became the proud owner of C1 with an impressive result in writing. By the way, he also helped me as an assistant for some time, which I am sure played a role in his Listening, Reading and Writing scores. Giving him 6 for his speech is a crime though.
Shaxzod, wish you all the best. May you also become an outstanding English teacher!
@toplanguagecentre
Nurbek has achieved this result within a year. Having completed the course, he also helped me as an assistant, which I believe is a sure way to level up in the language. Explaining things to students, he started understanding everything even better, which is why he managed to get C2 level in both listening and reading.
Nurbek, wish you best of luck in the future endeavors. If you believe in yourself, you can achieve anything!

Your ability to paraphrase is the best indicator of your level of English.
Let’s paraphrase - The lesson was interesting.
-The lesson was fascinating / engaging / absorbing / thought-provoking…
-It was a fascinating (engaging etc.) lesson.
-It was an interesting class / lecture / seminar / tutorial / session…
-I found the class interesting / engaging etc.
-The teacher made me think / gave me food for thought / raised some interesting ideas etc.
Remember, to get a high score in IELTS, you have to be flexible in your language use.

Many students forget that IELTS is an English language test. They spend too much time on ‘tips and techniques’, hoping to find a shortcut to success. Others do some work on language, but they focus mainly on grammar. They try, for example, to learn ‘complex structures’.
I believe that vocabulary is the key to a higher IELTS score. If you can widen the range of words and phrases that you are able to use correctly, you’ll become a better user of English.

Ozodbek is an exemplary student. He does everything consciously. He doesn’t bury himself with books. Nor does he waste his time with useless stuff.
He just came to lessons, listened to my lectures, did everything on time and achieved this result. When I asked him why his English understanding was so good, he said that all the content he consumes on a daily basis is in English. That is, actually, a perfect way to learn English. Just make it your everyday habit and it will stop being difficult for you.
6 for his speaking is a crime though. All the teachers must be already fed up with inconsistent assessments of examiners. I wish speaking and writing were assessed after seeing the students’ results in listening and reading, so examiners would have a better understanding of the real level of a candidate.

Many experts regard Newton as the greatest genius the world has seen.

Newton is considered by many scholars and members of the general public to be one of the most influential people in human history. French mathematician Joseph-Louis Lagrange often said that Newton was the greatest genius who ever lived.

This is the result of my former student Olimov, a.k.a. Sponge boy.
He finally got that C1 in writing, which he was striving for for so long, passing the baton to Shiko😁.
Olimov, although 8 is a fantastic result, I wouldn’t say that it is for you. I am sure 9 is not that far. Go for it and I am sure you will get it! Best of luck 🤞

I also congratulate all of our students who have achieved 6.5, 6, 5.5 and B2 in Multilevel. You all can be proud of yourselves, and so am I of you!
Wish you all the best in the future endeavors!

Otajon was so close to getting 7.5, but the Indian speaking examiner didn’t let it happen. I don’t know what is going on with speaking scores lately, some get higher than expected, but mostly the reverse is true. I hope Otajon will decide either to ask for a re-mark or re-take the speaking part, and I will be sharing his overall 7.5 very soon here.
Writing 7 deserves a special attention. Great job, man!

Javohir has taken my month-long individual lessons to upgrade his 6.5 to 7.
A great achievement considering the short period of time he took to prepare. By the way, it’s a great idea to focus on listening if you don’t have time to work on all the sections. Unlike others, listening develops relatively faster.
Javohir, you are a very talented boy, and the main thing is to use your talent in the right way.
@toplanguagecentre
Let us look at some of the results of our results and congratulate them with their achievements!

Nowadays, many people experience high levels of stress. What are the main causes of this and how can it be reduced?
It is no secret that modern lifestyles place people under immense pressure. While there are two obvious sources of this mental strain, its effects can be alleviated in one simple yet quite diverse way.
The competitive nature of modern life is a major cause of constant pressure. Today’s economy is highly business-oriented, encouraging entrepreneurship and offering subsidies for growth. At first glance, this seems like a dream come true for workers, but every coin has its other side. Since the market never rests, neither can people; otherwise, they risk falling behind competitors and losing their place in the so-called battlefield. As a result, in an effort to maintain their position, businesspeople can hardly afford any rest, which leads to mental overload.
In addition, social media significantly contributes to rising stress levels. It is typical of humankind to compare ourselves with others. While in the past such comparisons were limited to the neighbourhood and workplace, today they are virtually boundless thanks to the internet. We are constantly exposed to people who appear to live better lives, and although this can be motivating, it often diminishes appreciation for what we already have, creating unnecessary stress.
That said, stress levels can still be reduced if we master the art of escapism. The most crucial aspect is learning to detach from everyday pressures. This can be achieved in various ways: some people may choose to spend more time with family and friends, others may focus on hobbies, while many find relaxation through travel. All of these activities can help relieve stress and clear the mind.
In conclusion, stress is an integral part of personal and societal development, and it is those who learn to manage it who ultimately succeed.

Collocations are groups of two or more words that are often used together.
Here’s a good example: In English we say “Merry Christmas” but we never say “Merry Birthday”. Why not? The reason isn’t anything to do with grammar; it’s to do with collocation. “Merry Christmas” is a natural word-group in English but “Merry Birthday” isn’t.
So, collocations are groups of words that sound right to native speakers.
I suggest that you collect them in a notebook. To do this, you’ll need to read and listen to lots of native-speaker English, and you’ll need to keep your eyes open for word-groups, such as verb + noun. Then, when you’re writing or speaking in English, try to use the collocations that you have collected.
Fill the gaps in the sentences below to complete the verb + noun collocations.
Governments should _____ steps to tackle this problem.
The objective was to _____ funds for the homeless.
Young children can find it hard to _____ instructions.
Companies should _____ an emphasis on sustainability.
I want my children to _____ their potential.
Answers:
1. Take steps
2. Raise funds
3. Follow instructions
4. Put an emphasis
5. Reach their potential
I am organizing a reading marathon here on Telegram. It is a week-long project. ABSOLUTELY FREE. If you are willing to participate, just text me @Shakhriyortoplc. I will send a link to the private channel.
In this marathon I will explain my approach to reading, which helped me to get a perfect 9 in this section several times.
A) The woolly mammoth is an extinct species of mammoth that lived during the Pleistocene until its extinction in the early Holocene epoch. It was one of the last in a line of mammoth species, and its closest living relative is the Asian elephant. The appearance and behaviour of woolly mammoths are among the best studied of any prehistoric animal because of the discovery of frozen carcasses in Siberia and Alaska, as well as skeletons, teeth, stomach contents, dung, and depiction in prehistoric cave paintings.
B) Mammoth remains had long been known in Asia before they became known to Europeans in the 17th century. The origin of these remains was long a matter of debate, and often explained as being remains of legendary creatures. The mammoth was identified as an extinct species of elephant by Georges Cuvier in 1796.
C) The woolly mammoth coexisted with early humans, who used its bones and tusks for making art, tools, and dwellings, and the species was also hunted for food. It disappeared from its mainland range around 10,000 years ago, most likely through climate change and consequent shrinkage of its habitat, hunting by humans, or a combination of the two.
Question:
Newton wrote that he had achieved everything without the help of others.
Text except:
Newton himself had been rather more modest of his own achievements, famously writing in a letter to Robert Hooke in February 1676: “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.”
Question:
Newton’s Principia is recognised as a groundbreaking text in its field.
Text excerpt:
His Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (Latin for “Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy”; usually called the Principia), published in 1687, is one of the most important scientific books ever written. It lays the groundwork for most of classical mechanics.
One of the most underrated skills in life is decision-making. Those who master it tend to excel in whatever they pursue, while those who don’t often end up making a mess of things.

A key aspect of an English teacher’s job is to be a good ‘model’ of the English language for his or her students. I think that teachers sometimes place too much importance on their lesson materials (books, worksheets etc.), and they forget that they themselves are the most valuable source of language in the classroom. In spite of all the IELTS materials that are available to students, there’s still no substitute for a good teacher.
