Drake - In My Feelings
Lyrics
Trap, TrapMoneyBenny
This shit got me in my feelings
Gotta be real with it, yup
Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding?
Say you'll never ever leave from beside me
'Cause I want ya, and I need ya
And I'm down for you always
KB, do you love me? Are you riding?
Say you'll never ever leave from beside me
'Cause I want ya, and I need ya
And I'm down for you always
Look, the new me is really still the real me
I swear you gotta feel me before they try and kill me
They gotta make some choices, they runnin' out of options
'Cause I've been going off and they don't know when it's stopping
And when you get to topping
I see that you've been learning
And when I take you shopping
You spend it like you earned it
And when you popped off on your ex, he deserved it
I thought you were the one from the jump that confirmed it
TrapMoneyBenny
I buy you Champagne but you love some Henny
From the block, like you Jenny
I know you special, girl, 'cause I know too many
'Resha, do you love me? Are you riding?
Say you'll never ever leave from beside me
'Cause I want ya, and I need ya
And I'm down for you always
J.T., do you love me? Are you riding?
Say you'll never ever leave from beside me
'Cause I want ya, and I need ya
And I'm down for you always
Two bad bitches and we kissin' in the Wraith
Kissin'-kissin' in the Wraith, kiss-kissin' in the Wraith
I need that black card and the code to the safe
Code to the safe, code-code to the safe-safe
I show him how that neck work
Fuck that Netflix and chill
What's your net-net-net worth?
'Cause I want ya, and I need ya
And I'm down for you always
(Yea, yea, yea, yea, he bad)
And I'm down for you always
(Yea, yea, yea, guess who's back)
And I'm down for you always
D-down for you al-
(Black biggy biggy black biggy black blake)
D-d-down for you always
(I got a new boy, and that nigga trade!)
Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding?
Say you'll never ever leave from beside me
'Cause I want you, and I need ya
And I'm down for you always
KB, do you love me? Are you riding?
Say you'll never ever leave from beside me
'Cause I want ya, and I
Skate and smoke and ride
Now let me see you
Bring that ass, bring that ass, bring that ass back
Bring that ass, bring that ass, bring that ass back
Now let me see you
Shawty say the nigga that she with can't hit
But shawty, I'ma hit it, hit it like I can't miss
Now let me see you
Walk that ass, you're the only one I love
(Walk that ass, walk-walk that ass)

Now let me see you
(W-w-walk that ass, you're the only one I love)
Now let me see you, now let me see you

Blinding Lights
Lyrics
Yeah
I've been tryna call
I've been on my own for long enough
Maybe you can show me how to love, maybe
I'm going through withdrawals
You don't even have to do too much
You can turn me on with just a touch, baby
I look around and
Sin City's cold and empty (oh)
No one's around to judge me (oh)
I can't see clearly when you're gone
I said, ooh, I'm blinded by the lights
No, I can't sleep until I feel your touch
I said, ooh, I'm drowning in the night
Oh, when I'm like this, you're the one I trust
(Hey, hey, hey)
I'm running out of time
'Cause I can see the sun light up the sky
So I hit the road in overdrive, baby, oh
The city's cold and empty (oh)
No one's around to judge me (oh)
I can't see clearly when you're gone
I said, ooh, I'm blinded by the lights
No, I can't sleep until I feel your touch
I said, ooh, I'm drowning in the night
Oh, when I'm like this, you're the one I trust
I'm just walking by to let you know (by to let you know)
I can never say it on the phone (say it on the phone)
Will never let you go this time (ooh)
I said, ooh, I'm blinded by the lights
No, I can't sleep until I feel your touch
(Hey, hey, hey)
I said, ooh, I'm blinded by the lights
No, I can't sleep until I feel your touch

Some people say that now is the best time in history to be living.
What is your opinion about this?
What other time in history would be interesting to live in?
It is true that every single person hardly resists to indulge in considering the period they exist in to be superior to both previous and coming times. There are in this sense those asserting that the present embodies the ideal epoch to be alive. While I fully support this view due to two principal reasons, it would be enlightening and intriguing to see Ancient Egypt too.
To substantiate my support with this opinion, I can put forward the quality of life and life expectancy we have at our disposal now. Compared to the past, the living standards in both ethical and practical terms enjoyed by the current generation are likely to be at such a level that could only be imagined by our ancestors. Neither were human rights used to be appreciated and followed to the extent they are now, nor were modern technologies present to be taken advantage of in such domains as medicine, agriculture and education. In addition to this, the lifespan of an average individual living at present can at least be two times as long as that of anyone from the past. This is because of the immunity developed by us to not only natural disasters, including floods, droughts or earthquakes, but also those human-induced like wars.
Despite all the benefits of current time, experiencing the life of Egyptians from Pharaohs’ era can be equally compelling. The first reason for this is a priceless opportunity to gain first-hand access to the fruits of their civilisation. As the advanced nature of this nation is mirrored by their legacy in the form of the accounts, relics and buildings, the face-to-face encounter with them may provide us with clues to different modern-day burning issues. Besides, in order to leave no room for speculations based on pseudosciences and conspiracy theories, ideas revolving around these people should be scrutinised at last. The chance to share the same period with them would finally manifest answers satisfying human curiosity related to the construction techniques of pyramids, mummification process and their knowledge of geometry along with astronomy which proceed astonishing us.
In conclusion, although I am in favour of living now, it could still be interesting to spend a day or two in Ancient Egypt.

Classwork Questions:
Although it is generally illegal, physical punishment continues in many countries. Some argue that parents should have the right to punish their children in this way.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Corporal punishment controversially continues to be part of upbringing in most cultures across the world. Even though it is commonly banned, there are those claiming that parents are entitled to penalise their children in this contentious manner. I absolutely disagree with this assertion due to traumas and mental disorders caused by this punishment along with its ineffectiveness.
To substantiate my position, it is required to take into account psychological as well as emotional traumas inflicted once physical punishment is imposed. Not only can this make minors scared of making mistakes, but also constantly seek approval and attention when they grow up. Although some may state that childhood traumas are inevitable, the influence level of this punishment is capable of overshadowing any others.
Another argument opposing this so-called way of nurturing is its counterproductive quality. The more we spank, slap or hit our daughters and sons, the more they hate themselves which leads to diminishing self-esteem. Irrespective of external factors able to entail the same, they in combination with child abuse can escalate the situation leading to further inadequate developments in a child.
Along with this, corporal punishment is neither an effective solution, nor a part of wholesome parenting. Parents who apply it mostly cannot discipline their children with words, nor are they patient and adaptive enough. Should we both talk to juveniles in their own language and become more attentive to them, there is, however, a high possibility to avert any disobedience from their side making any violence unnecessary.
In conclusion, I do not support the idea of penalising children physically at all.

Although there is a lot of translation software available, learning a language still could be advantageous. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
1. Widens outlook - additional source of knowledge \ while learning, different topics are covered \ English provides access to any information of the world \ translation software deprives us of this chance.
2. Job - knowledge of a language automatically opens two doors for employment - nationally as well as internationally \ not only, but also \ without language.
3. Travel - can help in three ways - saves time \ prevents misunderstandings \ force majeure.
Technology has facilitated our life to such a degree that even learning a second language may seem irrelevant today because of easily accessible digital translators.(Hook +Paraphrase) Nonetheless, there are some claiming that acquiring a foreign language is still beneficial, which I completely agree with.(Paraphrase + Thesis statement)
First off, an additional language widens people’s outlook. It can be seen as another source of knowledge, while learning which, people cover various topics. IELTS, as a matter of fact, is a salient example of this. Those, who are preparing for this exam, expose themselves to a plethora of fields, and as a result of this broaden their horizon. Moreover, knowing a lingua franca, English specifically, provides people with an access to virtually any information of the world in an original format. The ones who rely on translation softwares, in turn, deprive themselves of this opportunity.
Better chances for a successful career are another reason to master a language. Knowing a second language automatically opens two doors in front of a job applicant. Not only will such a candidate be an asset to a local labor market, but also can make through an international market if dissatisfied with the salary nationwide. Although some may say that the same functions can be accomplished with the language programs, personal touch should be valued more.
Last but not least, a tourist can benefit in three ways if speaks a foreign language. Firstly, by interacting directly with others in that language, s\he can save time. As it is widely-known, utilizing programs can take relatively more time to express the same meaning simply because the conversation will flow with a mediator, the translator in our case. Secondly, the command of a foreign language can prevent misunderstandings, which are usually caused by literal interpretation of information. Finally, by possessing a language, people can avoid force majeure, such as being out of the internet zone and drained battery in gadgets.
In conclusion, even though it is now possible to do without a foreign language, I believe it still has a lot to offer.

Some parents buy their children whatever they ask for, and allow their children to do whatever they want.
Is this a good way to raise children?
What consequences could this style of parenting have for children as they get older?
Such a difficult question to meet the Task Response.
Alternatives - provide with everything but under certain conditions \ provide them in moderation;
1 \ 2 - fulfilled childhood \ laid-back attitude to life \ self-centered arrogant(feel that world is obliged to please them);
Meeting children’s needs, even the most insane ones, is becoming commonplace in the modern world. Although this way of parenting may prove advantageous to some extent, its repercussions may be too hard to swallow, so other methods have to be considered instead.
There are two approaches to nurturing a child, which almost guarantee to yield dividends. Firstly, it can be suggested to provide children with everything they wish for, but under certain conditions. Conditions, in turn, must correspond with the desire. For instance, a visit to a party can be allowed provided that children show an exemplary behavior both at home and studies, while an expensive item, say car, can be bought should they pass the admission test for a bachelor’s degree. Alternatively, a more affordable way of parenting can be proposed, that is providing children with everything in moderation. With the help of this, children can be kept not only fed, but also hungry, which will stipulate them to act independently and eventually achieve their aims and firmly stand on their feet.
With regard to the initial manner of upbringing, it entails one positive outcome, yet accompanied with two negative ones. On the one hand, children are bound to have a fulfilled childhood, which they will be grateful for immeasurably and feel indebted to parents. With this mindset, they may conquer milestones in order to pay off the debt. On the other hand, sweet life is more likely to cultivate a laid-back attitude in children and make them feel like a navel of the world. Because of the former, they will be demotivated to work hard, and due to the latter they will consider everyone obliged to please them. Since these two are more probable scenarios, two above mentioned strategies ought to be applied for the prosperity of the youth.
Even though every parent loves their child unconditionally, it is their duty to bring them up in the most effective way, keeping in mind the long-term benefit of youngsters.

I don't wanna talk
About things we've gone through
Though it's hurting me
Now it's history
I've played all my cards
And that's what you've done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play
The winner takes it all
The loser's standing small
Beside the victory
That's her destiny
I was in your arms
Thinking I belonged there
I figured it made sense
Building me a fence
Building me a home
Thinking I'd be strong there
But I was a fool
Playing by the rules
The gods may throw a dice
Their minds as cold as ice
And someone way down here
Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all (takes it all)
The loser has to fall (has to fall)
It's simple and it's plain (it's so plain)
Why should I complain? (Why complain?)
But tell me, does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say?
Rules must be obeyed
The judges will decide (will decide)
The likes of me abide (me abide)
Spectators of the show (of the show)
Always staying low (staying low)
The game is on again (on again)
A lover or a friend (or a friend)
A big thing or a small (big or small)
The winner takes it all (takes it all)
I don't wanna talk
If it makes you feel sad
And I understand
You've come to shake my hand
I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
Seeing me so tense
No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all
The winner takes it all
So the winner takes it all
And the loser has to fall
Throw the dice, cold as ice
Way down here, someone dear
Takes it all, has to fall
And it's plain, why complain?

Some believe that nuclear weapons benefit the world at large.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Since the discovery of fire capable to both warm and burn, it has become apparent that any boon can easily turn into evil. There are, in this sense, those highlighting globally useful nature of nuclear arms. Though there are some downsides to this assertion, I am generally in favour of it.
It is essential to consider some problems associated with this notion. The primary concern is the potential of nuclear arms to easily make our planet uninhabitable or even destroy it completely. As they belong to weapons of mass destruction, no wonder that they are capable of inflicting mass casualties along with global annihilation. One other possible issue is the acquisition of nuclear weapons by terrorist organisations or other unpredictable groups. The more this type of weapons proliferate, the more probability of them falling into the wrong hands. These two questions in turn raise ethical questions over their presence.
Despite these problems, I would rather have nuclear weapons be at our disposal. Firstly, the very presence of them can act as a powerful agent in the international arena. Having experienced indiscriminate slaughters during both World Wars, the world needs a nuclear deterrent preserving peace by making the ultimate cost of any agression obvious in advance. Besides, it would be delusional to envisage the world with political actors pursuing solely noble objectives. This is because neither do superpowers surrender their orbit of influence, nor abandon own interests to the sake of peace in the world. To have this type of weapons is, hence, to maintain a balance among nations and their cumulative dividends may outweigh any related concerns.
In conclusion, while the main drawbacks of nuclear weapons are elevated risk of Armageddon and a detriment to global security, the positive features range from effective restraining force to the balance of power.

Compared is the involvement of men and women in the gym from 1980 to 2010. It is clear from the shown trends that initially men were more active in sport, but the situation had reversed by the end of the period. Noteworthy are the wild swings in the lines between the first and last years.
With respect to the number of men who went to a gym, in 1980 just over 2000 of them did it, but in five years the number doubled. In the following decade, there was a sudden decline in the figure dropping to about 1800 men before reaching the apex at 5000 in 2005. Nevertheless, the last five years once again witnessed a sharp decrease, but this time it was even greater, plunging to a nadir at about 600 men.
Turning to women’s participation in gym activities, we can observe an identical change in the first five years as in the case with the opposite gender; there was a twofold increase hitting 2000 in 1985. By 1990, the number of women had slightly dropped, after which the line took the shape of a camel’s humps. In 1995 and 2005 approximately 2900 women went to a gym, while in 2000 and 2010 the figures constituted about 2200 and 1900 respectively.

Classwork Question:
Convenience foods will become increasingly prevalent and eventually replace traditional foods and methods of preparation.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Our interests and predilections never stay the same and neither do our preferences for food. It is, in this sense, predicted that the prevalence of convenience food will be both high in the future and ultimately render conventional foods as well as cooking techniques obsolete. I entirely disagree with this statement due to the huge range of traditional foods, negative attitudes towards ready-made ones and the cultural aspect of this question.
The unlikelihood of this prediction can be related to a huge diversity of flavours offered by national cuisines. Not only does this rich variety meet the expectations of most, if not all, but also enable us to vary our eating habits regularly. No matter how diverse the types of processed foods, their taste is inferior to that of traditional ones.
Another factor hindering ready-made products from taking the place of conventional foods is rising awareness of people about what they consume. Irrespective of any time-efficient and affordable nature of processed foods, we should admit that these comforts come at the expense of damage to our health. The more we are reliant on this kind of food, the more we jeopardise our digestion system and cardiovascular function because of artificial additives, sweeteners and excessive fat present in them.
Along with this, although most cultural patterns are not immune to becoming eventually outdated, the same cannot be said about traditional foods and cooking methods being an indispensable part of any culture. This feature is observable, should we consider the main purpose behind either cooking or sharing a meal at home which is to bond us and have a quality time together. It is, hence, highly unlikely that these activities may fade off anytime soon.
In conclusion, I believe that convenience foods can overshadow neither traditional foods nor preparation techniques.

Lazy people do a little work and think they should be winning, but winners work as hard as possible and still worry if they are being lazy.
Читать полностью…Large companies should pay higher salaries to CEOs and executives compared to other workers.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is true that every employee is normally compensated in accordance with the value they bring to their workplace. There is, in this sense, a notion that top layers of a company’s hierarchy should earn more than the rest of their team. I totally support this statement due to the amount of work completed by company leaders, the burden of responsibility they carry and the harmful nature of universal compensation.
To substantiate their right to be paid more, we should consider all the hard work and time invested by bosses in their career. Not only did they constantly hone their professional skills, but also sacrificed most of their life to climb a competitive career ladder. Should they be promoted because of either nepotism or cronyism, they will nevertheless not last longer at their posts.
Another factor corroborating my stance is the pressure put on CEOs and executives, as they are in charge of every single operation in a company. No matter how many responsibilities subordinates have, they still succumb to those owned by their colleagues above in the level of risk associated with them. The reason for this is that the more decision making a position stipulates, the more risky this job becomes.
Along with this, although the same enumeration across all positions may seem fair at first glance, this can inflict chaos at work. This idealistic initiative is able to neither incentivise the workforce to develop and eventually earn more, nor make them stick to subordination. To pay equal salaries to all staff is, hence, to lead any organisation into collapse.
In conclusion, I entirely agree that those holding higher company posts deserve to be paid more than others.

Some people believe that the experiences children have before they go to school will have the greatest effect on their future life. Others argue that experiences gained when they are teenagers have a bigger influence. Discuss both views and give your opinions.

Body 3:
1. We present the central idea in an easy and clear way;

Conclusion:
1. The summary of the essay;
The essay.
There is a heavy dispute going on over the most influential period of life. While some claim that the experiences children undergo before school are the most important in shaping an individual, others argue that the ones which take place in the teenage hood are of more importance. The way I see it, the former view is attributable to the majority, yet the life of the minority has to be taken into account as well.
Once a child is born, they can be perceived as a white canvas and their formation is down to the artistic skills of parents. Since in the first years of life children are innocently naive, they can be affected to a large extent and this is parents’ duty to shape them properly. Either this period can be wasted because of the parental negligence or used in a way that will yield dividends further on. To support the argument, we can refer to the book “after three too late”, which states that the cornerstone of a child’s personality is formed up to 70% by that age.
That said, we have to acknowledge that teenagers are more conscious than children and therefore capable of analyzing events and extracting valuable life lessons out of them. Due to this, it is believed that experiences they undergo leave a more significant impact on their life. Children, in turn, are not able to judge situations and thus they either overlook the experiences which could be life-changing or are affected unconsciously, which is invisible to us at first sight.
Regarding my opinion, I am convinced that most people are formed before school, but in the life of some, teenage years can entail a twist. It may be as positive, so negative. The major reason behind this is peer pressure. Those who surround themselves with ambitious people can follow them up, whereas others can be dragged down by the unambitious.
In conclusion, despite the debate, I am sure that the influence of teenage hood on our life is nowhere close to the one of childhood.
