Compared is information about the quantity of Vietnamese students pursuing education in France, Russia and the USA between 2000 and 2015. Out of three given countries, only the popularity of Russia dropped among the Vietnamese learners, which made it the least chosen destination to study although initially it ranked over America, but under France. As for these two, both saw an upward trend in the number of students coming from the Asian country, yet as the increase of America was consistent and dramatic, eventually it topped the graph.
To commence with the figures of the largest country in the world, in 2000 it had the highest number of students from Vietnam - exactly 3 million - but from then on the number followed a downward pattern until 2010 when it bottomed at around 1.8 million. However, in the next five years, the situation improved and the quantity of students had risen by approximately 700,000
Turning to France and America, the number of Vietnamese students in the former constituted 3.5 million in 2000, which was more by 2 million than the latter’s index in the same year. Coming to 2007-8, the figures equalled at 2.5 million, after which the latter kept rising until the last year when it peaked at 5 million. The trend of the former, meanwhile, was not that smooth; between 2005 and 2010 it plateaued at the abovementioned figure, but then it surged to 4.5 million in 2015, failing to catch up with America anyways.

What amazes me is that I’m a different teacher with different groups. There must be a switch button in the brain that is naturally activated to adapt to the level of students.
The following file contains two essays; one written with tops, the other with standards.
Feel the difference.

Those who got 6-6.5, congratulations to you, too. Put some more work and achieve that doors-opening C1!
Good luck 🔝
Regina just did what they do. In her family it's a tradition to get 7.5 from the first attempt. Not a big deal for them, but a massive deal for us😁.
Congratulations! You met our expectations. Me and Bekhruz aka are proud of you.

People have historically attempted to achieve a perfect society. However, it is difficult to decide what an ideal society would be like.
What would be the most important element of a perfect society?
What can normal people do to make society more perfect?
No matter how intricate it is to define, a dream of an ideal society has always accompanied us. While I am convinced that it is equal opportunities which are most essential to make any society perfect, ordinary people can also contribute to the further improvement of our lives through quitting legal nihilism.
Although there are different components playing a key role in the development of living standards in a society, the impact of opportunities equally available at everyone’s disposal needs to be particularly accentuated in this case. The reason for this is that since ages history has not been ceasing to prove that states with unequal rights between sexes, disproportionate access to education, job market and medicine, social discrimination as well as favouritism are less likely to progress and more likely to turn into failed regimes. Those societies, by contrast, where every single citizen irrespective of their sex, race and background is both treated equally and entitled to all privileges for self-actualisation are among the most developed ones with the highest happiness rates among population.
With respect to how every individual can make their own contribution to making their societies more perfect, it is of utmost importance to eliminate the major barrier on our way, namely legal nihilism. This action illustrates our poor and disrespectful treatment of law, when we cannot resist indulging ourselves by putting ourselves above the rule of law. It may, for example, start as seemingly harmless illicit acts, such as jaywalking or not wearing a seat belt, however, this could eventually grow in the orbit of influence and affect all spheres of lives that would turn into chaos if devoid of order. To create an ideal society, we had, therefore, better abide by the law and stop seeking loopholes to abuse it.
In conclusion, I maintain that a perfect society can never be established without equal opportunities and uncompromising respect for law.

Coldplay ft Beyonce - Hymn for the Weekend
Lyrics
Me, drink from me, drink from me (oh I-)
Shoot across the symphony (oh I-, oh I-)
That we shoot across the sky
Drink from me, drink from me (I-, oh I-, oh I-)
That we shoot across the (I'm feeling drunk and high)
Symphony
(So high, so high)
That we shoot across the s- (drink from)
Oh, angel sent from up above
You know you make my world light up
When I was down, when I was hurt
You came to lift me up
Life is a drink and love's a drug
Oh, now I think I must be miles up
When I was a river, dried up
You came to rain a flood
You said, "Drink from me, drink from me"
When I was so thirsty
Pour on a symphony
Now I just can't get enough
Put your wings on me, wings on me
When I was so heavy
Pour on a symphony
When I'm low, low, low, low
I-, oh I-, oh I-
Got me feeling drunk and high
So high (so high), so high (so high)
Oh I-, oh I-, oh I-
Now I'm feeling drunk and high
So high (so high), so high (so high)
(Woo)
(Ooh)
Oh, angel sent from up above
I feel you coursing through my blood
Life is a drink, your love's about
To make the stars come out
Put your wings on me, wings on me
When I was so heavy
Pour on a symphony
When I'm low, low, low, low
I-, oh I-, oh I-
Got me feeling drunk and high
So high, so high (so high)
Oh I-, oh I-, oh I-
Now I'm feeling drunk and high
So high (so high), so high (so high)
I-, oh I-, oh I-
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
So high, so high
I-, oh I-, oh I-
Now I'm feeling drunk and high
So high (so high), so high (so high)
That we shoot across the sky

🔝Check out this report, paying attention to the parts in bold.
Demonstrated are the average band scores for students from different countries sitting the IELTS General Test in 2010. It is overall clear that the highest scores belonged to German candidates, whereas the lowest ones to Indonesian and Malaysian test takers, with all nations’ people’s strongest skill being speaking.
With respect to the results of two European countries, the ratio of their overall scores was 6.7 to 6.5. Not only did the German outscore the French in overall results, but also in each section separately. In listening, reading, writing and speaking the former scored on average 6.8, 6.3, 6.6 and 6.9 compared to 6.3, 6.1, 6.5 and 6.6 of the latter, with all figures being given in the same order as skills.
Turning to Asian countries, although both showed an identical overall score, in three out of four skills Indonesians were ahead. In listening, writing and speaking, the ratios constituted 6.3 to 6.2, 6.1 to 6.0 and 6.7 to 6.6 in favor of Indonesians, but in reading the gap was significant enough to nullify the difference, 6.1 to 6.4.

Why do people keep using to be with it?
It is a simple verb, just like others, so don’t use to be with it.

The quote I liked - The magic is in what you avoid doing.
Indeed true, even relatable to IELTS. People practice listening and reading, but don’t learn words, nor do they analyze mistakes. People speak, but don’t try to add some novelty to speech in order to level up. People write essays, but don’t learn exactly how to do it.
All the secrets are under your nose. Don’t seek them in other places.
@toplanguagecentre
Quick advice - clarity must be over anything else in your essays. Everything you write must be understandable from the first read.
Only amateurs complicate their essays just for the sake of it. Pros know that clarity beats complexity.

One of our former students has achieved an incredible score, with which we wholeheartedly congratulate her. She was a prodigy. Having finished only a standard course immediately after pre-IELTS, she got 7 in the mock. She must’ve worked even harder after that since Speaking 8 says exactly that!
Pari, we wish you all the best! You got the potential to be the first Khorezmian female with 9.

Many people argue that restaurants should be required to disclose the nutritional information of the dishes they serve.
Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?
It is argued that information about nutrients inside their dishes needs to be shared by restaurants. Despite short term negative sides of this proposal, I believe that its long term benefits are bound to exceed.
This idea can negatively impact the popularity of particular restaurants. Once it becomes mandatory to inform guests about every single ingredient of a dish they order, restaurants specialised in fast food would have to reveal the exact amount of fat and sugar their menu items contain. As the truth about the true contents of the food on their plates may be both rather shocking and off-putting to customers, they could think twice before visiting those restaurants again. This would result in a drop in visitor numbers for restaurant owners which means a profit loss and imminent threat of bankruptcy.
Nonetheless, I prefer to see this initiative in a rather positive light because of its future benefits which are able to overshadow any side effects. If the transparency of nutritional information is guaranteed from the side of restaurant businesses, people can start to be more careful with products they consume. Not only would this encourage restaurant service providers to only use ingredients of high quality, but also enable the general public to have more control over their food intake. To apply this policy is, hence, to both elevate service standards at restaurants and protect the overall consumer well-being.
In conclusion, we gain more than we lose from requiring restaurants to reveal the nutritional value of products served by them.
