Amazon, $AMZN, Costco, $COST, and Walmart, $WMT, now reflect a record 17% of total US retail sales.
The share has jumped by 6 percentage points since 2014. Moreover, they have accounted for a MASSIVE ~57% of retail sales growth over the same period.
In effect, $AMZN, $WMT, and, $COST, share prices have soared by 1025%, 332%, and 862%, respectively since 2014. In 2024 alone, these stocks rallied 44%, 74%, and 40%, respectively. Big retailers are dominating.
