Pendle Finance focuses on yield-generating assets. It splits the principal element of a token from its yield and enables users to buy them. Principal tokens are like bonds: you buy them at a discount and wait for them to mature. It's a good way to invest in what you like during a bear market.
For example, you can buy a discounted ETH (principal ETH token) that matures in 3 months from Pendle's Lido pool. There are some doubts about the fee for the Dao Maker investment proposal.
Management fee of 11% (1% from Dao Maker and 10% my fee for managing this entirely for you all) on the capital invested & Performance fee is 30% of the Profit the funds Make.
Lets say If you invested 1000 & the funds return is 1500 (1000 Capital + 500 Profit) at end of One year.
The Management fee is 110$ for your 1000$ Investment.
The Performance fee is 150$ for 500$ Profit.
I hope it is clear now.

More details after talking with their team again:
Dao M is committing $3mil from their own funds to this strategy. I know they tried raising a $100mil fund a few months ago but managed to have only $60mil committed and decided to put that one on hold and raise this smaller $12mil fund. The scope of this fund is to show that they're capable of returning outstanding profits even in a bear market. This is the main reason they need this $12mil fund to be successful and will invest $3mil of their own funds, involve all their networking and connections, have a dedicated team and most importantly, keep it for only 1 year. Their goal is to raise that $100mil fund, probably a lot more if they're successful and the market turns bullish.
They've got the strategy ready to go starting in January and are just waiting for the paperwork from the lawyers to start raising funds and close it before Christmas. I will also invest my own funds in their strategy as I believe it has a high chance of success. There are no guarantees, only invest what you're willing to lose.
Minimum commitment is going to be a struggle as it is $500k, but we're going to share this deal with other VCs that want to commit smaller amounts and get there. Knowing the Dao M team personally will help in this regard.

We can join the bigger fund later on if we want. However, the bigger fund is designed to have lower rewards and is meant for larger investors - they need to be successful with this smaller one first. It seems that Dao Maker, alongside others, is drastically changing the fundraising process for the projects they want to launch in the future. You can see it with Primal, the latest project they've incubated where the Partners(https://daomaker.com/company/primal#team-and-partners) of that project are basically Dao Maker and other close insiders who they control or have leverage over. More control of the project = higher chance of success, that's where we're heading to.
It's a 1 year fund, designed for the bear market. we send them stable, they do their magic, we get stable back.
based on the success of their strategy they're expecting a minimum of 450% return.
On the returns, as told and explained earlier there will be management fee and performance fee charged by Dao Maker (30%+1%) + my management and pool fee (10%), total 41% charged and the rest will be sent back to you.

The markets have been going dead silence as volumes have been diminishing away and, ultimately, volatility has also been getting lower recently. This is the ultimate recipe for some fireworks in Q1 2023 as economic data will most likely be terrible during that quarter.

Have a couple of lowcaps that I think could be a good play but I'm not really liking where the stock market is going at the moment, I think over the short term it could go lower and thus Bitcoin as well, so I'm going to wait for a bit more.

My own neutral analysis on this:
I've personally been involved with 30+ IDO platforms in the past 12 months and DAO Maker is definitely the #1 team for their pick of projects and big price pumps after TGE.
They are the OGs in this field.
BUT having said that, it's a bear market currently and no strategy can be called as a sure winner in crypto. So I'll ask you guys to read all the details that I shared with you, read about Dao Maker and then arrive at a decision. And lastly, invest what you can afford to lose.

I expect many ALT coins will likely follow BTC if it retraces back to $11-$12k levels.
Remember, Alt coins bleed much faster than BTC, as their market cap is a fraction of what BTC is.
