Solana at a discount
Here is the deal going around on OTC desks currently.
You can buy Solana at ~$64-66 depending on how you want to calculate fees for the transaction
If you buy (minimum purchase amount is about $250K from reputable OTC desks) then you vest Solana Token
Your Solana coins would vest until 2028. 50% of it would be vested by July 2025
Now you see why the price isn’t moving much, all the whales are just doing this
Easy Summary: In our opinion, this is a no brainer deal. While there is risk of hacks, the third party degen’ing the coins etc. The risk is small from a reputable desk.
Historically, Bull markets usually last 12-18 months. If you sign up for this you would get 50% of it back in July 2025. This means if Solana is flat during the bull run you would be up 100% still! Seems unlikely considering every coin pumps during a bull market. Even Litecoin goes up in a bull market.
What to Do: The minimum size is ~$250,000 across multiple OTC desks and if you have big numbers such as multiple millions, you can reach out to Galaxy directly. Some of you are trading many millions and might even have millions already of Solana. If you plan was to hold it, then simply sell it and buy it at a 50% discount.
Once again risk is low vs. reward so it needed to be flagged. Risks are: 1) issue with OTC party/third party, 2) Solana somehow goes down below $65 by the time 50% unlocks and the remaining 50%.
