🏴 First taste of winter, with some places even seeing snow. The leaves have mostly dropped from the trees and the wind has blown a gale, but there I was, snuggled up with Baxter, toasty and warm next to our window into the world.

It was built in 1852 and 1855 10 miles from Edinburgh. It has only ever belonged to two families: the Hutchison family, who built it, and the Marshall family, who acquired it 130 years later.
