Hi, someone asked previously. Buying China train ticket via Railway12306.

They have already allowed non China number registration. But must Read their guide on how to do registration by foreigner. I have successfully registered account using SG mobile and bought tickets earlier this year.

- must read guide on how to register
-must pre approve all passengers by uploading each person passport - then wait for them to verify
-when buying ticket, go for the Chinese language version if you can as Chinese version allow you to choose seats and eng version didn’t allow (unless they upgraded the eng version now)
- one benefit, railway12306 app allow you to cancel tickets with full refund
-I can’t remember e various pymt mode options but I use Alipay to pay

Also had this observation… The more times a particular flight been searched, the prices will go up. Think there’s some algorithm behind it.

Maybe don’t search for 1-2 days, we ever successfully managed to get it at the first price we saw… but but, there’s a risk… the moment more tickets are sold, usually prices will be higher as there’s lesser tickets. :)

Yes! The airport transfer offered by Trip is really good. We used the services 3 times this year.

Very reliable and pricing is reasonable… slightly more expensive than grab, but wouldn’t get cancelled 🤗

Flight ticket prices are always changing. You can't choose to go back to a cheaper price cause it's determined by the system.

I believe there are some apps that allow you to lock in a price for a certain duration by paying an amount though.

From what i know, smart check in means u dont even have to do anything when check in period opens. Trip.com just auto helps you choose your seats!
