Im travelling from Shanghai pudong airport to suzhou on 3 May 2026.

1. Could I ask if I should pre book my trains in advance?

2. If I use trip.com to book, I see the price for standing class and 2nd class is the same... is there a mistake? Or is it that I need to buy 2nd class ticket on top of the normal fare ticket?

3. Whats the best route from pudong airport to suzhou? From A maps it seems like they want me to take the maglev then 2 local trains to the high speed train which seems a bit odd?

My friend ticket booked on trip wasn't issue still 2 weeks already. My parents booking refund also faced the same situation as others here. Trip agent asked many documents to verify.
