A shooting involving multiple suspects and five people shot at Virginia State University prompted a campus lockdown early Saturday.

The shooting happened near the university’s Quad Annexes, and both campus police and Chesterfield County police are actively investigating. County police said officers discovered five people suffering from gunshot wounds outside campus dormitories when they arrived.

The five victims were transported to hospitals, and one initially listed as having life-threatening injuries has been upgraded to critical condition, county police said. The other victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The university said in a statement that the shooting involves “multiple suspects.” The statement asked people to avoid the immediate area.

A 15-year-old girl was babysitting two children, ages 5 and 7, when police say 29-year-old Obed Reyes punched through a closet wall, entered the apartment, grabbed her by the hair, punched her and threatened to rape her while the children watched in terror. The girl fought back, broke free and ran outside screaming for help. Neighbors called 911 and officers arrived while the attack was still underway, pulling Reyes off her and arresting him. He faces charges including kidnapping, aggravated assault, burglary and cruelty to children, and jail records show an ICE detainer has been placed on him. The girl’s courage and quick response may have saved her life.

Scott Bessent says George Soros crashed the U.S. Market on Election Night 2016, and lost BIG against Trump

I missed this interview, but I’ve never heard Scott Bessent talk about George Soros before. Here he discusses working for him over two separate stints that totaled roughly 15 years.

He said his job for him was purely on the investment side and never on the foundation side. Those were kept very separate.

During the first stint, he says George Soros was actually very helpful in bringing down the Iron Curtain and contributing to the collapse of the Soviet Union.

After Bessent left, he says that sometime in the early 2000s Soros became much more focused on domestic policy.

On election night 2016, Bessent says the market CRASHED and it was one of the greatest buying opportunities of all time because of how pro-business Trump was. So he personally bet big on Trump.

He later found out that George Soros was the one selling the market—he was crashing it—and lost several billion dollars doing it.

What better man with such intimate financial knowledge of George Soros’ operations is there who knows exactly where to look to dismantle Antifa and other networks?
