The Heritage Oversight Project Highlights They Cannot Take Biden off the Democratic Ticket in Three States, for any Reason other than Death or 25th Amendment 👀

• The Heritage Project has set their sights on three swing states.
• Georgia
• Nevada
• Wisconsin

• Wisconsin: does not allow withdrawal from the ballot for any reason besides death. 

• Nevada: no changes can be made to the ballot after 5 p.m. on the fourth Friday in June of an election year or 'a nominee dies or is adjudicated insane or mentally incompetent.

• Georgia: If Biden were to withdraw less than 60 days before the election, his name will remain on the ballot but no votes will be counted. 

• Texas, the two party's nominees have until the 74th day before the election to withdraw from the ballot.

• Some states, like South Carolina, do not allow candidates to withdraw for political reasons.

• Some states don't have any laws on the books for dealing with a presidential nominee withdrawing, and there is little precedent for such a situation occurring. 

The 25th amendment seems like the only way, or death… unless he plans to not run in these states?

*IF* Biden drops the first person to belly up to the bar will be Harris, and the DEI base of the Dem Party will demand it, that a minority woman who is the sitting VP be the stand-in this late in the game.

I highly doubt she would happily disappear, especially given that she ran for the Dem nomination last time.

I have little doubt Trump would win 400 or more electoral votes if she were the choice.

Biden actually polls better than every other Dem in the Rust Belt.

There are a LOT of moving pieces required to swap Biden out. Even with his full cooperation it would be hard given different deadlines and requirements in various states.

I am going to play contrarian here, given that I think without the cheat, this year has the 1972 effect to it (everyone votes for Trump regardless of color and party)...

Rather than having Biden botch the debate to swap him out (not easy)... that perhaps with a Trump win possibly unstoppable, this was the saving grace to say for four years that Trump only won because his opponent suffered a mental breakdown and plunged into dementia, hoping to make it less about Trump and a mandate to change the country.

If I remember correctly... this is a monumental ruling.
Wasn't it this that all those federal agencies have been using to basically rule by fiat?

Agencies like the EPA & FDA have been largely free to look at a law, interpret it how they want, and then make up POLICY and weaponize that against companies, states, cities as they see fit.
