OMG some ladies are soooo passionate about quilting!
My darling firstborn loves quilting so much I said "girl at least start selling them because you got quilts piling up around here!" and apparently she went and called my bluff by launching a quilting business!

I figured out why the ICE budget is so high.
Context & Challenges:
Per a 2019 ruling a census must count every person here, including illegals. (1)
13 US 141 prohibits a mid-term census being used for congressional apportionment (can be used to update gov statistics only). (2)
Solution 1:
Make sure the illegals aren’t here anymore when the next census happens. How do you pull that off in just a couple years? 🔥A gigantic ICE effort simultaneously in every state. 👈
Solution 2:
But that law was passed by Congress, and can be amended by Congress. Watch for MTG’s bill to address this directly.
Conclusion, there are legal challenges with trying to do a census and only counting citizens. I expect Trump to challenge that in SCOTUS if possible, but the size of the ICE budget shows he isn’t gambling on the decision of a fickle court… direct action by ICE to remove millions of illegals is the only SURE PATH currently under full control of the Executive Branch of Government.
And Congress just approved this extraordinary increase in ICE funding… so they know exactly what’s about to happen.

Path to citizenship if they've been here a long time, have good clean kids in America, and NO criminal record:
-Do a bunch of required service work
-Pass a citizenship test
-Whatever other requirements deemed necessary
-Pass a polygraph test coving topics around criminal behavior, proper conduct towards women and children, and love for America.

Are some people really having a hard time comprehending why Trump is advocating compassion and a path to citizenship for the best behaved illegals?

Wherever possible Trump has approached every issue with massive social implications... with compassion. He ignored the extreme hard liners on abortion and said "ok, I'll get elected without you"... then went on to deliver more abortion reform than anybody ever. He doesn't need or plan to listen to the extreme hard liners on this either.
You aren't very smart if you genuinely thought MAGA was going to round up and deport EVERY SINGLE illegal and treat the productive humble ones the same as the violent gang bangers.
Why? Because YOU (and me and all of us) have SOME responsibility before GOD for the things YOU allowed this nations leaders to go around the world doing with the power they took from us. I mean collectively, the people of the United States got rich & fat and took no responsibility for the things that were done in our name and using our collective power. That included Democrats and Republicans and major corporations for YEARS taking advantage of cheap labor by lying to people that they could just come here and it would be ok.
SOME of the people came here to quietly live and work, and even made honest efforts to be law abiding and assimilate. They teach their kids English, and desire to become true citizens.
It's not Godly to lump them in with the gang bangers and the cartels, or the recent crop of thugs who came only to exploit the debit cards and the cash grab during the Biden years.
I can't look at a productive family working on a farm for 15 years, treat them the same as violent thugs, and look Jesus in the eye. EVERY policy that directly affects other children of God, must be tempered with compassion where reasonable.
Frankly, it's also smart politics to soften the blow on the normies and the libs by differentiating. "Oh, he's focusing on the violent criminals and not really going after long term farm workers? Ok, then I'll stay home instead of going to that protest..."
We have a very short window of opportunity to mass deport the truly undesirables who make no contribution to society. It will be VERY VERY HARD to even deport 75% of the illegals. Start with the worst, work our way up... and we'll run out of time long before we get to the peaceful productive farmers.
If this is a hardline issue for you, then you can go sit on the sidelines with the single issue abortion and budget hardliners... who never figure out where to make strategic compromises and NEVER ACTUALLY GET ANYTHING DONE.
250 years ago... you are the type of person who would have "refused to compromise" and never sign the very imperfect original Constitution... and even with it's original imperfections... it still managed to unite people around enough that was GOOD to eventually bring the world more light than any previous experiment in freedom the world has ever seen.
I'm proud to celebrate our Independence with some important wins, and a real mandate to remove those who hate us and only came here for the money. I'm also open to embracing those who have been here a long time and actually grown to love America. Jesus will be as generous with me, as I am with my fellow man (compassion tempered by reason and expectation of full compliance with whatever path to citizenship we decide to offer them).

New Idaho State Laws that are now in effect
1) No more public benefits for undocumented immigrants. They will now lose access to state funded vaccines, food aid, prenatal care and more
2) Proof of legal status. You now have to prove that you are in the US legally to get non emergency public health services
3) Vaccine and medical mandates are BANNED. Businesses, school and the government can't require vaccines or other medical procedures for entry or work
4) Sleeping in public spaces is now illegal. You can no longer sleep in public spaces anymore. This includes parks, sidewalks and offenders can be removed or fine
5) DEI funding is now BANNED. State money cannot be used for diversity, equity or inclusion programs in public institutions
6) Death penalty for child sex abuse. Certain child sex abuse crimes now carry the death penalty in Idaho
7) Idaho has officially reinstated the firing squad as its number one execution method
8) fentanyl mandatory prison time. There are now new mandatory minimum sentences for fentanyl trafficking and drug induced deaths equal a felony
9) Parents must be notified in child cases. Authorities must inform parents right away if their child is being investigated by child protection services.
