I have numerous frens that are staunch 2A absolutists.
I also had a mother (who I loved and tried to take care of) that was dangerously crazy at times.
If you are absolutely committed to the idea that a crazy person should be allowed to buy guns, then I’m gonna guess you haven’t experienced the terrors of living with a crazy person and being at their mercy. Did your mother ever tie a plastic trash bag around your head and light it on fire to scare the demons (voices) away?
At this point, I don’t want legit trannies buying guns. They are usually on drugs that make them unable to see reality, and I’m crawling Reddit and other forums seeing 1,000s of posts from these psychos threatening violence.
However, red flag laws will obviously be abused by any leftist in a position to do so.

Gave me chills (in a good way) to see MAGA fathers call having children the greatest measure of success.

One of the things I learned in my college course on Auditing, was that if you’re called upon to perform an audit… the party you are auditing doesn’t get to decide which rocks you’re allowed to look under.
But our election systems “audits” are carefully controlled by the same politicians who bought those systems, and operate them to stay in power.
We have never had an election systems audit that complies with even the basic rules that govern a real audit. Armies of lawyers and accountants know this, but remain silent and pretend everything is fine. I’ll never understand this for a society that pretends to love democracy.
