I try not to care too much about the details of these cases, because the real enemy is the people funding this shit on the back end. Those same people employ disinformation agents to inject chaos after their own events to deflect attention. IMO don't give them a win by pointing attention at the FBI, that may be in a position of being forced to cooperate with surface level optics and stupid cover stories (on this or other matters)... keep the attention on exposing and destroying those behind the funding.

Trump DOJ will play it cool with these relatively minor charges. I think they let it play out, and on THESE charges, the outcome will not be anything like the maximum possible prison time.
Narrative wars. Setting expectations. Showing the people and the rats these are new times. Trump DOJ will have even more credibility later on bigger matters if it doesn't lean on the scales of justice now.
Media will FOAM AT THE MOUTH screaming about Trump shafting his political enemies, and end up looking stupid when Trump plays it cool and accepts whatever the court decides on this.
