Almost one year ago, I announced this channel would change from "Seth Keshel - Captain K" to "Captain Keshel's 2024 Election HQ." You can read that announcement in the post attached to this one. The point of the change was to concentrate all efforts on winning the 2024 election. And we did that in the most important race on the ticket. A lot of work remains to be done, but the mission of this channel was largely successful.
I am feeling a nudge to hand this channel over to what will be the future of election reform and embark on a new beginning. I haven't made my mind up yet, but I think I've reached my purpose here. I will continue to write longform over at my SubStack (skeshel.substack.com) and am grateful for those of you who find my work there valuable, but I am seriously burnt out on the constant back and forth, incessant fighting, and the constant need to have a phone in hand so no updates or demands for time are missed.
I would like to regain much of what I have set aside for four years. The future will show the way ahead, and I will not try and post for clicks to remain relevant.

Couple things to know about South Korea while the ‘martial law’ news trends:
1. President Yoon Suk Yeol is from the Conservative Party. (People Power Party)
2. He was a former federal prosecutor that got elected under the promise of removing government corruption.
3. Due to the perception that he was targeting political enemies instead of overall corruption, his approval rating has dropped horrendously low. (19%)
4. North Korea has nothing to do with the this. This is super common in South Korea; to blame any action on the North to justify extreme action. This is well known and understood in Korea.
5. The next presidential election isn’t until 2027. (5 yr terms)
6. The National Assembly (legislative) is a liberal majority.
7. South Korea has a history of authoritarian presidents, as well as putting them in prison.
With such an incredibly low approval rating, losing the National Assembly at the midterms, and cries for impeachment, this is most likely a last ditch effort to implement his plan to remove corruption and eradicate deep state. Not sure if this is the best way to handle that…but pay attention

I love the implications for ONE thing. Disclosure.
How else can you force these people to TALK, and permanently destroy all the undeserved trust in institutions that have spent decades working against us?
For years I have lamented that one official investigation after another has been a hoover designed to suck up & hide all evidence of crimes by elite and/or government... and the excuse is always "for the integrity of our investigation" blah blah. Then a wrist slap happens, and the evidence that was gathered gets buried. Just like Epstein in 2005.
Many times I have said the only way any permanent change happens is by overwhelming public knowledge of what was done... and I shared my own opinion that public disclosure to break the hold certain people have on the minds of the public is more important than jail terms for any of our political enemies.
Do I still WANT them to rot in prison? Yes
But I can make peace with destroying their reputations and making it unsafe for them to walk the streets IF TRUE AND MASSIVE DISCLOSURE HAPPENS SO BIGLY THAT THE MEDIA CAN'T EVEN TRY TO SPIN IT ANYMORE.
