HAMAS just ended the last possibility for the two state solution to the Israeli-Palestine conflict.
Absolutely unprovoked and useless invasion. An invasion with already pre-decided outcome. Israel hasn’t even started yet the casualties for Gaza are already 5 times more.
This is not Russia vs Ukraine. It’s more like the United States vs CHAZ. And it’s CHAZ that decided to declare a war.

One thing that you have to understand about modern liberals is that they are not liberals in the institutional sense of the word. Liberalism is about property and individual rights which supposed to protect you from precisely things like this.
Modern liberals are primary Woke first and bind the institutions of liberalism accordingly with their ideological demands. And the more they do that, the less liberal our countries become (the less will be tolerance of Right Wing and anti-Woke views).
While Israel will undoubtedly and unfortunately kill much more civilians in the following days and possibly weeks, we should always remember who started this brutal war and by which methods. You should never punch first even if you think you are in the right.
There was no need for this. Palestinians could have attempted to voice their concerns democratically, but many of them chose terror.
Both the Israelis and Palestinians will suffer as a result but Palestinians much more so. Best outcome for Gaza is removing HAMAS from power and temporary Israeli military occupation. Worse outcome is ethnic cleansing. Both are equally likely. Emotions guiding diplomacy are never good.
That’s my pessimistic assessment of the conflict before I go to sleep
